Kaelen groaned slightly as he shifted.
He opened his eyes and focused forwards, he saw an odd looking room that had a table and a few chairs around. Around those chairs however were several people
People holding guns that were pointed at him.
Kaelen felt a chill run down his spine
"Hey why the hell are you pointing that at me ?!" He yelled trying to move but found himself unable to.
Kaelen continued to move around trying to get out of the restraints
Perhaps his mind had been so occupied with the guns pointed at him and the fact that he was tied up that he had not realized he was in a police station
"Hey calm down!" The main said
Kaelen focused on the man, unknown to the elder a manifestation of air had been summoned and was an insignificant distance away from him preparing to suffocate him.
The mans eyes were cold, clearly someone who had seen many things which was highlighted by the little bits of gray what was showing in his hair
Kaelen looked at him and then his eyes fell on the uniform
'Policemen...' He thought
The man sighed
"Good, you calmed down." He started to open the straps that were holding him down
"We appear to have gotten of on the wrong foot." He said
"Appears so...." Kaelen chuckled dismissing the manifestation
"Before we continue this conversation." The police man had finished untying him
"Congratulations on surviving your First Nightmare, Sleeper Kaelen."

Kaelen walked into the bathroom with an odd mix of emotions in his heart.
'Was my expectations to high?' He thought
For some reason he had believed that he would be sent to the police station that Sunny was in and he would be greeted by Jet
But now, it seemed he was in another police station.
Thankfully he was still going to the Awakened Academy so he would meet up with the main cast there, Sunny, Nephis and Cassia
But there was a bad feeling that was sticking to the back of his spine that he was unable to get rid off.
'And that police officer...'
There was something about him that Kaelen could not shake of.
After removing his clothes he moved into the shower stalls and turned it own feeling the warm water wash over his body
He stood there for a few seconds allowing the water to wash away the past forty nine days of nightmare.
After a while he had washed his body and brushed his teeth using the available tools left behind.
Stepping out he had made sure to throw the tooth brush into his satchel, along with the soap, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste
He didn't stop there though.
He ransacked the locker that held the other items as well and by the end of it he had more than enough supplies to last a year
Smiling he put on one of the tracksuits available that fit him and threw about seven pairs of them into his satchel as well.
Moving out of the bathroom he made his way back to the group of officers.
The boy who was sitting there had yet to wake up from his nightmare.
"You finished." The officer said looking at him
"Hmm..."
Kaelen said looking around
Everyone in the room was tense looking at the boy attached to the chair, their hands were wrapped around their guns and their fingers looked trigger happy...
Before the officer could speak again Kaelen had beat him to it.
"If he doesn't succeed, I have experience killing awakened nightmare creatures."
He said trying to calm them down
Their eyes still held a bit of worry but it seemed to decrease by about fifty percent as he summoned the light sword.
"Well, that's a bit of a relief..." The young women said, her hand still grasping the gun but the trigger no longer had her finger on it.
There was a silence that permeated the air after that, an awkward silence.
"...Aren't you going to give me the run down of what I have to do...?"
The police man, the eldest one nodded
"Do you want something to eat while I explain ?"
Kaelen thought about it and he recalled what he had read on how Sunny had described the food he ate while Jet explained the situation
"No thank you." He said for the sake of his own taste buds.
"Understood."
"I'm sure you are aware that you are entitled to counseling for any traumatic experiences you experiences during the nightmare."
Kaelen shook his head
The nightmare may have been difficult and dreadful, but he had already come to terms with it and doubted he had any lingering issues
"I'm fine, my nightmare was difficult but it also opened my eyes to a lot of things, one of which was how to keep my mind sane."
He said remembering the little bit of madness that he had experienced during the nightmare
"Well, at least we know you wont go rogue, for now at least."
Kaelen nodded
"That's not something you have to worry about, I don't plan on killing with my own two hands unless absolutely necessary."
"Good, the next thing to do is inform your family of a few things, such as if they prefer to keep you at your home or if you will go to the Academy."
Kaelen smiled softly
"I don't have parents, nor do I have a home, I'm from the outskirts you see." He said
The officer looked at him deeply as if contemplating if something else should be said, something comforting perhaps but he decided against it
He may not have been a carrier of the spell but he knew well how brutal it was and with Kaelen going to the dream realm soon he was going to need to be as hard minded as possible.
The man sighed
"Then you will go to the academy, you will be taught skills and be provided with resources. It may not do you much good since there is only a week before you enter the dream realm but something is better than nothing..."
Kaelen stood up abruptly from his seat
'One week?! What the hell does he mean one week?!'
This was not really that bad but he had plans if he had been sent at the same time as Sunny, perhaps try and get him to awaken Shadow Dance early
Get to know him and gain even a fragment of his trust
Speak to Cassie and get her to know that she wont die, a bit of comfort at least
Before he could speak there was a loud sound from behind him, a dreadful sickening sound
The other Aspirant had failed and an awakened creature had come through
