Kaelen woke up from the bed, a women's voice reached his ears as something gently nudged his cheek.
"Huh... Wha?" He grumbled
Thankfully his headache was gone as too was the general tiredness his body had been holding. He sat up and rubbed his eyes
Once they had cleared up it landed on a women, she was rather gorgeous and had light green eyes. Her hair was long and flowing like a river of liquid darkness. She had lightly tanned skin that looked soft.
Kaelen blinked again, then again.
"An Angel...?" He yawned
"Am I still dreaming ?"
There was a laugh
"Well, you failed to mention that he was a flirt." She said
There was another voice from the back of her somewhere, a more familiar one. The elder policemen
"... You can only gleam so much from less than 2 hours of knowing someone." He said
Kaelen hadn't heard the man though, he had already turned and went thrown the blanket over himself.
Unfortunately he felt the blanket get pulled of his body
"Hey...!" He said coming face to face with the monster that was interrupting his sleep
And she was rather beautiful
"Come on, Its wakey time..." The women said, she had a tone in her voice as if teasing him
"Huh... Wait..."
Heat had crept up his face as his white skin turned red.
"My apologies..." He said realizing what he had said
Leila smiled at him
"Its fine. I don't mind a harmless compliment." She chuckled
"Why don't you go and wash up, and I give you the run down again."
Kaelen looked at the police man in the back and before he could speak she did again.
"I am aware he has informed you, but it is protocol as the person assigned to watch you two... well, one that I inform you."
He remained still for a few seconds and then nodded, getting out of the bed.
"Please excuse me." He said walking past them and moving downwards again trying to push away the embarrassment

Having walked down the stairs Kaelen ended up reaching the floor in which he had killed the Nightmare Creature.
Its corpse still lay there, its head was lying a little steps away.
"Analyzing the kill huh ?"
One of the policemen said
Kaelen looked at him and smiled
"...Something like that, yeah."
He was analyzing the kill, yes, but he was also for some reason sympathizing with the beast
It was different from a Nightmare Creature that was simply born through reproduction, this one was once a human being, just like he was.
"Well, We didn't get a chance to thank you since you basically fell unconscious when you hit the bed."
"Ah, don't worry about it."
He responded feeling a bit better, sure he may have killed a being that was once a man, but he had saved five that are currently men.
It was nice.
He moved into the bathroom and did what needed to be done coming out when he was done.
The Awakened that responded seemed to be on the upper floors while Kaelen was currently on the last one with the other two officers who were seated there, looking at the corpse with amazement.
Kaelen felt his stomach burn lightly indicating to him that it needed food.
The creature had too much fur on it for him to be able to eat now without having to take some extra cleaning steps.
So
He pulled out the Dark Survior meat that he had stored within the satchel while he walked towards the stair case.
"Its been a pleasure," He said to the man and women
"Ah leaving already?" She responded.
"Hmm, good luck with your work and... I suggest investing in stronger guns...." He said
"Yeah, without a doubt. Good luck with your trip to the dream realm."
Kaelen smiled
"Thanks."
He began to walk up
The manifestation appeared and took the property of flame which was in front of him, Kaelen was thinking of a way to cook it
Maybe get a stone and heat it, or maybe there is a pot or pan somewhere in here.
Then an idea clicked
Using his free hand he rolled up the sleeve of the police tracksuit and, reached his hand into the flame, the meat going into with it.
Now that the manifestation was not around his hand, wrapped tightly. His body did not take on the form of fire, rather the fire it was placed into simply did not do anything to him.
He smiled hearing the meat sizzle as it cooked.
By the time he had reached the top floor it was more or less done
"Is that your aspect ability?" The Awakened women said with a soft smile
"Ah, yes." He responded
Then he looked at the meat and at her and the police man standing next to her
"You guys want some?"
"Yeah sure." She smiled
"No thanks, I've eaten." The man said walking away
"I should get to dealing with the corpse."
Kaelen looked at him walking down and turned away
"He said you had used swords to kill the Devil, he hadn't mention that you used fire."
"It was in the heat of the moment. I got slapped into the wall the moment it came through so I didn't think to use my Aspect. Just kill."
"Good instincts." She said turning to walk towards the little reception desk
Kaelen had dismissed the flame now and felt his stomach growl looking at the sizzling meat.
He pulled the meat apart and called upon the women
"Here" He offered
She reached and took the food
"Thanks."
"Hmm, there's no seasoning..." He said still biting into it without problems a if it were a full course meal
The two of them ate in silence, Kaelen leaning against the desk as the women sat on it, her legs moving forwards and back.
Once they were done she turned to him.
"Come on, I'll give you the run down on the way to the academy - you're going to want all the time you can have there."
Kaelen looked at her
She was right.
Only a week?
He had no intention of learning combat. He clearly knew how to kill even without a perfect battle style
The chance of him being able to learn sorcery to a decent or even novice level was absolutely zero.
Wilderness survival was useless to him as well, his whole innate ability allowed him to survive in various environments.
So what did he feel he needed to do?
'I need to go and make some friends.' He thought repeating a line in his head as he focused on Sunny, Nephis and Cassias names
'No one survives the dream realm alone.'
