Chapter 2 - Chapter 1, New World

The flash of light had stopped twisting and warping. My body seems to be fine, but my stomach definitely doesn't. I look around, embracing the beautiful scenery.

"Wow... how pretty...*

I saw tall green trees, big bushes, small pink butterflies and a bustling town behind the scene. This was nothing like Tokyo. No cars, no tall buildings, fresh air that isn't polluted by the old world.

"Get her!"

I turn around to see where the noise came from, but what I saw, was a frightening figure, with an ominous feel around it. Standing about twenty meters away from me was what seemed like a tall woman, in her twenties. But, her beauty pales in comparison to her dark wings sprouting from her back. A long thin tail grew from her waist, two horns on her head. Yep. She definitely isn't human.

"Just surrender, you demon!" Yelled a man that seemed to be in his late twenties. "We're a S ranked party, so if you don't surrender, you'll be killed".

The men and the woman seems to have not noticed me, as I slowly backed away. When I backed up far enough, I ran to the town I saw earlier. When I reached the town, I walked in, hoping to not be caught up in more trouble. Seeing the town up close had also made me realize that it's way bigger then it looked.

"Wow..." I whispered to myself.

The streets were bustling with people, following their ordinary daily life. As I walked down the street, I smelled something. I follow the smell and it led me to a small stall, there was a man in it.

"Thyria!? Is that really you!?" The man said, as he began crying.

The man had led me back to his home, and explained why he called me Thyria. Apparently, Thyria was the man, Ragar's daughter that went missing ten years ago. After clearing up the misunderstanding, the man took me in to live with him.

"Hey, Sakura, let me teach you some sword skills" Ragar said.

"Sword skills?" I felt confused about what he said.

"Yes, Sakura. I was a former A rank adventurer, and I think I see lots of potential in you" Ragar says, softly with a smile.

"So... you think I should be an adventurer?" I asked.

Maybe being an adventurer would give me an income so I don't need to rely on Ragar all the time. I think this is the right choice.

"So, it's your choice Sakura" Ragar sounds eager to hear my response.

"Yes, please teach me" I reply.

My life before was boring, but maybe now I can add some excitement into it. But I realized how tough using a sword is, especially if I'm a girl.
