Nayeon continued to work at Amazing water.for two months and found it nice to ajust ti the place. She had started receiving her salary and started planning to move from her cousins house.
Over the weeks, Nayeon and Dohyun became friends and she felt that he had true friendly feelings towards her. They would always hang out every Saturday and this time, Nayeon insisted on them going to her favourite flower shop which was not to far from Haerin's apartment. Dohyun agreed and that very Saturday, they went to the flower shop.
Yewon Han, the woman the owned and worked at the flower shop greeted Nayeon i as she instantly recognised her.
"Nayeon, how are you? What if your sister and cousin?" Miss Han asked.
"They are well." She replied.
And upon noticing Dohyun, "Oh, who's this young gentleman?" Miss Han asked.
"He's my friend, Dohyun Lee." Nayeon introduced.
"Joeun achim. (Good morning)" Dohyun greeted.
"Joeun achim, eotteohge jinaeseyo? (Good morning, how are you?)" Miss Han asked Dohyun kindly.
They started having a conversation in Korean and Nayeon was able to listen to some of it, as her Korean was poor. But she picked up that Dohyun was saying some generous words to Miss Han and she was flattered. Nayeon glanced at Dohyun softly and his eyes me hers. She abruptly pulled away and she felt her heart racing uncontrollably.
Then Dohyun and Nayeon at at the corner of the flower shop and Dohyun asked, "Why do you like this place?"
Nayeon smiled.
"This was my parents favourite flower shop. Every valentine or their anniversary, they would buy flowers for eachother from here. They believed that flowers were the best way to express feelings. That is why Miss Han is fond of me and my family." Nayeon explained.
"I understand. May I ask what happened to them?"
"Ever since my mother passed from cancer, my father started smoking cigarettes and getting drunk often. He neglected me and my sister for years after that and got into serious trouble with bets. He soon passed due to a lung infection from smoking cigarettes. And my sister got pregnant for some tout so I had to live with my cousin since then."
"I'm terribly sorry to hear that. You must have been throught a lot."
"Yeah. But I'm alright now."
Dohyun smiled with sighn of relief on his face.
"Did you know a cancelled a date with Leah just to be with you, Nayeon?" Dohyun asked as he took Nayeon's hand.
Nayeon blushed.
"N-no, I didn't." She said.
"You're a very special friend to me, Nayeon. I would never want anything bad to happen to you." Dohyun whispered into her ear.
"Me too, Dohyun."
