Author's Pov
Keifer tried to wake her up but she only fussed and leaned on more into him,due to which Keifer became still and didn't know what to do, that old lady started talking to him again,
L: "Feed her and make her sleep, it's not good sleeping in empty stomach after drinking."
So Ofcourse he tried to wake her up again and she was partially up and he had no other go but to feed,
Keifer: "Jay, Eat and then sleep please."
She was still dizzy and half awake, after lot of struggles he fed and managed to eat himself and he was done.
But he cannot drive since he is full drunk and he wanted to call his assistant but it was too late, so he decided against it.
Keifer: "Ma'am, Do you know any hotels near by for stay?"
L: "Yeah, there is one few minutes away." And gave him the address,
Keifer: "Thanks, Is there any chance I can get a cab, I mean can you call a cab for us." He asked adjusting Jay as she was still sleeping on him.
L: "Dear, I don't think cabs will come at this time. But don't worry my husband can drop you guys in his car."
Keifer: " No, No, it's fine Thank you."
L: "Oh, come on, you cannot carry your wife all the way up there, plus we are closed now, so it's no problem."
Keifer: "Really? Thank you so much."
L: "No, problem."
That old man dropped Keifer and Jay in the nearest hotel, Keifer took her to the room and made her lie on the bed and covered her with blanket and called the room service and requested another bed for him to sleep and slept on it as he was also too tired. (Maybe from carrying his wife around🤭🫣)
Jay's Pov
I woke up with a bad headache, I opened my eyes to see I was in a different and unfamiliar place, It looked like a hotel room.
I looked around and saw Keifer was looking at his phone in the couch and he looked up from his phone when I was starring at him,
Keifer: "Finally, You woke up?"
Jay: "What time is it?"
Keifer: "It's almost noon."
Jay: "What? Noon? How did I sleep for so long?"
I said and got up quickly from the bed only to sit back down because of the headache,
Keifer : "Calm down, having headache."
I nodded my head,
He came towards me and gave me water and hangover tablets,
Keifer: "Have these"
I took them,
Jay: "How did you get those and what happened and why are we here?"
I started with my questions, he sat next to me,
Keifer: "You were fully drunk out of control."
Jay: "No you are lying."
He gave me a look and started speaking,
Keifer: "You literally slept on me and I had to feed you and put you to bed, I couldn't drive to take you home, so we came here with the help of some people and don't worry I already called your assistant and said you won't be coming to work and asked her to send a set of dress which is by the table."
Jay: "What I did all that?"
He nodded,
Jay: "But why did you say I will not go to the office? I mean I can go in a for half day."
Keifer: "With that headache, you want to go in and make more bad decisions." He said and gave me a look,
Jay: "You are right, ahhhh Why did I drink? You could have stopped me."
He gave a "Are you serious look" again,
Keifer: "As If you would listen."
I just glared at him,
Jay: "Never mind, but why didn't leave for office? You look fine."
Keifer: "Leave you like that and just go?"
Jay: "Yeah, I mean I would have probably fine."
Keifer: "Just say thanks and my mom did not raise me like that."
Jay: "Fine thanks Keifer."
He smiled when I said that and it made me smile in return.
I went and freshened up and came after changing to see Keifer has brought lunch and is setting it up, I did not realise Keifer would do all these work, I mean he doesn't have but I realised he is really a caring person and I joined and we had lunch,
Jay: "What can we do now?"
Keifer: "I was thinking maybe I could go to the office now"
Jay: "What? NO please, I am really bored and I don't want to be alone, Let's go to the movies please, its only half day take a day off"
Keifer: "Jay"
Jay: "Please, Please" I showed him my puppy eyes to make him accept which he finally did,
Keifer: "Fine, eat fast we'll go."
After eating we went to the movies, it was a good romcom one and after that, he started driving towards my apartment and on the way,
Jay: "Heyy, Stop, Stop."
He halted the car and it kind of screeched,
Keifer: "Why? What happened?"
Jay: "Wait a minute."
I said and got down and went to a my favourite cake place, they serve the best cakes ever, and after few minutes I came back with a disappointed face because it was sold out,
Keifer: "What happened?" He asked still confused,
Jay: "That was my favourite cake shop, During my college I used to stand in line to get theri chocolate cake and it's gets sold out fast and I came here after long and I couldn't get it, I should have known when there wasn't a queue."
Keifer: "That's why you made me stop the car in the middle."
Jay: "I know but I really love and it reminded me of my old days."
Keifer: "Oh okay, shall we go?"
I nodded my head and he started the car and after sometime, he stopped it,
Keifer: "Just a minute."
I did not reply and was still starring at my window, he came back after sometime,
Keifer: "Here you go."
I turned to him and he had huge box of donuts and that instantly put a smile on face.
Keifer: "I know it's not your cake but atleast you have this."
Jay: "Aww, Thank you so much."
Both of us started having the donuts and after some chitchatting he dropped me at my apartment.
The next day, I got ready and went to the office little early because I wasn't there yesterday and Keifer was yet to come.
After some time,
He came with a package which widened and brightened my eyes. I screamed in joy when I saw that cake box, I was so caught up that I hugged him suddenly in that happiness, I think he froze that is when I realised what I did.
Jay: "Sorry"
Keifer: "Here you go"
Jay: "What? How did you get it?"
Keifer: "I have my ways"
Jay: "Wow I did not realise you would remember such thing because you are the I wouldn't waste my time on anything unnecessary type"
Keifer: "Well you were yapping about, I just thought if I got it for you would stop yapping and do the real work"
Jay: "Anyways Thanks"
I smiled looking, he got settled and started looking at the documents, While I remembered something back,
Jay: "David I really wanted that cake, I can't believe it is sold out again"
he wasn't focusing on what was I saying, so I called him again,
Jay: "David, David"
David: "What do you want Jay? I get it you are still yapping about the cake, get over it man, Don't act like a child" He shouted at me and I flinched, David did not cared about those silly things but I doesn't mean he didn't care, He was just... but Keifer
But why am I comparing Keifer and David, it doesn't make sense, I must be stupid. Comparing them together when both of them share a different equation with me, I looked at Keifer, he suddenly looked back at me and raised his eyebrows,
I just said, "Thanks" and he smiled and I started having my favourite cake.
