Samantha strangely didn't feel tense as he led her on this dance floor. This was the first time she was dancing and yet she felt so calm and controlled in his hands. "You're doing good." He said, his face still as stiff as before but she found herself feeling quite happy that he complimented her.
She looked up at him from time to time as they danced and she wanted to ask him a question but she didn't know if she dared to. "Speak if you want." He said calmly, spinning her to the sound of the music.
Samantha let out a nervous laugh. "I was wondering why you would ask me to accompany you to a high-end party like this. What if I embarrass you?" She asked, following his lead ever so carefully.
"It's not troublesome." He responded coldly. "Others out there would make a fuss about it but the best way for you to repay me is this and not make a fuss about it."
