"Are you sure you will be all right?" I smiled at Draven as I walked past his bed beside Damien. After the surgery, he was unconscious, and when he woke up, I was seated beside him.
The transplant was successful and the doctor assured me that they both will be fine.
"I will be all right," he assured me, glancing towards our son. "I think I need to bond with my son. I will be waiting for you by evening," he said, and I nodded in response.
"Be right back," I told him and moved towards my son. He was connected to life support, looking frail and pale.
According to Mallory, he would be able to shift to his Lycan form at an early age once he had fully healed. That was a shocking news but at least he was fine now.
"I love you, Damien," I kissed his forehead and then walked out of the room.
When I got outside, I looked around for the car that had brought us here, parked in the car park, but it was nowhere in sight.
