Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 the holy sword is here

Blood and Emotions

The Clash and the Masked Man.

Fists crashed, shockwaves rippling through the air. Sadori's flames tore into the monster, his hand bursting through its granite chest. The earth swallowed his legs, steam hissing like a wounded beast as he roared. The abomination flew away in a great distance, crushing buildings, leaving Terma in a skeleton of ruin's.

Two figures in white robes walked through the carnage, hoods shadowing their faces. Reyna stretched, a yawning cutting her sharp features.

"Ugh, the infinite tsunami." She sounded bored, itching for a kill. "We're here to find the source," Shea her companion said, her talisman glowing faintly. Emissaries from Italy's church, sent to Tokyo to deal with lust demons—and anything unholy.

A boom cut their scan. Jyotu's top soccerers swooped between smoldering blocks. "Surumi, Zomto—find survivors!" Kojou commanded. "Hansuma, Hayato—with me. We hunt the architect."

2. The Masked Man's Revelation

A dark shape descended, in masked, his black silk rippling in the air and land ontop of a building."Bravo. Absolutely wonderful." He hovered before Sadori, a smile in his voice.

"You..!…the source?"

"Yes. Do you like my art?"

Sadori's rage ignited."Like it?! You put millions in danger. Why?"

"This is the path to true peace." The man's tone was ice. "Starting a war is the only way to make peace."

"War?! Destroying Tokyo, Kyoto—"

"Exactly. It'll draw soccerers, the Black Pool, lust demons. Global chaos. A price worth paying."

"You're a monster."

"Wake up, boy. The only truths that's exist in this world are pains and futility. I'll craft a world purged of them. By any bloodshed."

Suddenly, a crimson eye snapped open in Sadori's palm. He jerked back.

"Ah, the rumors are true," the masked man said, awe creeping in. "The last Dragon Lord…a legend sleeping in you."

Sadori glared."Leave. There are still good people—

"Silence! There is no 'good.' Anyone who dares to stands in my way will be killed without Mercy." The masked man vanished in a wift of smoke. The tsunami lifted. The moon reclaimed the sky, cold and clean.

Reyna and Shea exchanged a look.

"Strange. The source vanished."

"We'll catch him next. Let's go and Warn the soccerers to step aside—let us handle the scourge."

Sadori flexed his fist, the eye was gone. A whisper escaped:"Thanks, big guy."

Kojou landed, scanning his battered student."Sadori, you okay?""Little tired." He flashed a sharp grin.

Yaze and Kira alighted on a summoned bird, their shadows pooling."Everything alright?" Kira asked, her gaze like frost.

"Yeah." Sadori tried charm. She cut him off:"If you sneak into my room, I'll fry your balls."

Kojou chuckled.

"Alright, let's head back. I have some unfinished business."

As they soared away, a lone figure in a crimson-and-white kimono slipped from the shadows, eyes fixed on Sadori:

"Sadori-kun…"

At the wrecked Mishima clan, the mages frowned."Too late. I missed the show," Reyna pouted.

Shea knelt, tasting a dark smear. Turned out to be bloods, she spat it's

"A soccerer and a lust demon fought. They were killing each other."Reyna's smile turned sharp.

"Next: Jyotu High. Home of soccerers."

Tensions at Jyotu

Enzo limped, leaning on his stick.

"Chun-yin, has Kojou returned?"

"Yes, Sensei. They lost the trail."

"Don't worry. We'll catch him next time." He nudged her playfully.

"You worried for him?" Chun-yin's cheeks darkened, as if the twilight itself had crept into her skin. Before she could hide it, two figures in white emerged through the gates, hoods lifted…approaching the grandmaster like winter shadows.

"Who!...are they!?" Chun-yin asked curious.'

"I don't know',"...
