Chapter 14 - A Peaceful Day

Five Days After Her Fight...

Miya laid in bed asleep. She then woke up, her eyes opened slowly as she stretches lazily and exhaustedly. During those days after she fought Vōniur, she had created her own domain.

Domains are alternate dimensions that are made with mana by the user. These said domains can be used as homes and used in battle.

Her domain, The Eternal Soul of Darkness, is a domain that exists as a state of endlessness and without beginnings and end. Her domain is special because it negates magic and anti magic and concepts within the fundamental universe.

During her days after the fight, she had completely learned and Nihility Magic, in which she had created her domain with.

Her domain was purely created out of pure nothingness.

Miya roamed around her nonexistent void that exists within a higher plane of existence. As she roamed around, she summoned a chair made out of nihility magic and sat down.

The only light showing in her domain was an entire screen that watches everything regardless of destination in the multiverse.

She sat there as she snapped her fingers, causing the space in her domain to warp, summoning and having food appear from thin air.

She started eating down on her food while wearing a fresh, new suit with a long black suit jacket, sweat pants and high top gray boots with a white shirt and black and white belt as her hair got longer.

"I wonder what to do today...." she murmurs to herself.

Her domain was getting cloudy a bit as she stood up and finished eating her meal.

«Miya, this is Karlie. Just checking up on you to see if you're doing ok.» says Karlie telepathically.

"I'm doing great, what about you?" says Miya calmly as she disappears from her domain and appears in the Physical Realm.

«That's good, although I did hear you fought Vōniur? how's that?» Karlie continues communicating telepathetically with a smile.

"Dangerous, of course I almost died, but he pushed me too my limits and now i've been adapting." Miya responds with a chuckle as she roams around the vast city of Chronystele.

«Is that so? That's interesting, well I sure hope he's doing well. Anyways, got to go! See you later!» Karlie responds telepathetically as her voice disappears.

Miya roams around in Chronystele as she has her hands in her coat pockets. She yawned as she walked.

She smiled as she sees how happy the civilians of Chronystele are. They walked around, buying items from stores and different food stalls.

It was peaceful.

Something Miya could have if she wasn't summoned into this cruel world. It brought back memories from her life previously pre-reincarnation.

She sighed in sadness, missing the old times of her previous life she had.

I wouldn't be in this mess if that shitty goddess hadn't summoned me. I could've had a better life than to fight otherworldly beings of god-like powers... so irritating honestly. I would really like to go home... her sighs becomes more desperate of finding her way home.

She continued walking through Chronystele as she felt a mix of emotions running through her mind and body. It was sorrow, but joy.

I'm sad, that I'm stuck here, but I'm happy that I'm able to get stronger and protect others, and see these people from different countries and cities be happy with their life even after destructive events... her thoughts had become soft and saddened a bit, but a mix of being glad.

She knew about the destructive path she is currently on.

She knew there were two different systems that governs existence. One was from Fragment Crystals and another is magic.

It's peaceful today, finally a day when I can relax. Although, I'm curious about the Spirit of Time that ruled over the Data World. Her mind wanders to the Spirit of Time. A spirit that she met in the Data World alongside with Aurora.

Her mind continues wandering through the different memories from this world and her previous world.

She then starts flying in the sky. Miya starts exploring, feeling the wind hit her face, causing her hair to flow with it.

While Miya flew through the sky, Karlie had been watching her from the Sky Palace.

The Sky Palace is a dimensional place that can be pivoted to different locations in the multiverse whether it being in space, another timeline, or even in the void. It was an omnipresent place that consistently exists through space-time. It exist at the same time as it can be moved around.

Miya continues flying through the sky at light speed, but then flies upwards, going above the clouds, into the atmosphere of the planet.

She takes in the view of the border of the atmosphere and around her. Miya then explores into space, seeing the solar system and countless planets and dimensions.

Planets being bigger than the regular planet Earth in my world... that's interesting, didn'f think a single planet can be larger than Earth... Her thoughts found the idea as interesting. She never had thought about it until now.

She continued exploring through space, seeing other planets.

"So peaceful... wish something like this exist. Maybe after I become a goddess I can fix everything..." says Miya as she sighs and continues flying through the empty space.

She had flew through space, but yet, she felt bored. Miya felt like something else was missing, or somewhere else that she has yet to explore.

Miya disappeared in thin air like mist, reappeared into her domain and had landed on the ground made of nothingness.

She sat there with a normal source of life, unsure of what to do. The day she expected she wanted was too peaceful— too quiet and had no noise.

The absence of noise had bothered her in her very domain. She hasn't realized it until it was too late. Her humanity was slipping away, and going deep into becoming a goddess.

She sighed, her attitude was slowly changing into a calm, deadpanned expression. She was losing it all slowly, everyday.

Each fragment crystals she achieves, causes her to lose her way of being human, and pushing her furthur into godhood. Her source was slowly changing.

Miya had then opened up a portal to the Physical Realm again to make sure her human side, or so she thought, would stay in contact.

So this is power... it seems each time I collect and achieve more abilities from these crystals, I lose my human side. Of course I still have it and can still show reaction, but... if this is what I need to get home, then so be it... Her thoughts became determined to push it, even if it means losing her humanity and source as a human.

Her boots had touched the ground, then she immediately sense the third fragment crystal. It was calling out to her, it was glowing even. The rainbow shade of the crystal was glowing more and more.

It was hundreds of kilometers away. Miya's new found speed, traveling so fast, that she had reached over thousands of times the speed of light within the span of five days.

She continued adapting. If her strength increased drastically, so does her speed. She was growing stronger and faster each time.

Miya arrived the third crystal's location and grabbed it.

Third Fragment Crystal... I can feel it, all those memories from the goddess, and these abilities from her.. it's intense. That's what I describe the feeling of it anyways. The fragment crystal had shattered.

The crystal she shattered was in a cave in the deep forests.

She left as her speed continues to increase as well as her strength. Her immense growth just from her adaptability alone, is something terrifying.

Miya had appeared flying through the sky at high speeds.

I remember now... I'm not physically feeling the cosmic fear each time I achieve these crystals, but conceptually in which leads to me losing my humanity each time I find them. I'll have to find a way to adapt to it before I lose everything... Miya's thoughts remained determined as she continues flying through the sky.

Fear inducement on a conceptual level... scary... She was panicked a bit. Her source as a living human was cracking.

«Hey Miya. I sense your fear. What's going on?» says Aurora as her voice telepathetically echoed through her head.

"I figured it out completely. I'm losing my humanity because of the conceptual fear inducement. I can't feel it, but my very source can." Miya responds calmly, but carrying some fear.

«I see... be careful Miya. I need you to know that the source isn't our heart, but is located in our domains.» Aurora responds as she sighs.

"Got it. Thanks for that." says Miya.

Aurora's voice faded from Miya's head as she continued flying around.

"This day has been peaceful.. no chaos, but yet, I'm the only one searching answers.. everyone's happy." Miya says calmly before she chuckles.

"I really am losing myself huh? I got to do something about this quickly." she says with a smile.

She hadn't realized, but soon, her smile will fade, and she will completely lose her human side sooner than she thought she would.
