Professor Crowler couldn't be more than happy to see a competent student.
Some students had talent in dueling but slacked off during studies and theories, whilst some were the opposite and sucked at dueling.
But now he finally had seen a student who not only got the highest grade in the written exam, but also effortlessly defeated the instructor for the practical exam.
"Ah you must be Dr. Vellian Crowler, the greatest teacher this academia has ever had!" Ryoken replied enthusiastically.
"Oh mama mia! you know about me? Guess my greatness precedes even beyond the academy."
His opinion on this student only got better. How lucky he was to get a student who also respected him.
'I must take him to the Blue dorm. With him, Zane's legacy will be in safe hands.' Crowler thought to himself.
"Well then I'd like to appoint you as a student of Blue dorm. You don't have any problems with that, do you?"
"I do."
"Great then le-wait you do?"
"Ofcourse. I think I have proven myself to be more competent than instructors who take exams from us, doesn't that mean I'm already above the level of most teachers?"
Crowler went silent for a moment before laughing loudly, his face completely resembling the pot of greed.
"Interesting, what do you propose then?"
"I want my own dorm."
"..."
"..."

Even the system was confused by what he had requested.
'You just beat an instructor and now want your own dorm? Please don't be so modest and take the whole academy.'
That's what was going on in everyone's mind, except Zane who just smiled and shook his head, muttering "classic Ryoken."
Crowler didn't know what to say, not expecting such development. He sighed and called the head of the academy, the one and only professor Akaba.
"Professor Crowler... What is it that required you to call me?" Akaba asked, cutting through pleasantries.
"Sir a student is demanding to have his own dorm." Crowler said altogeth he knew how crazy it sounded.
"Did you just call me for this? Expell him."
"That's the thing Sir... he's the first person to get complete ratings on both written and practical exams."
"Is that so..."
Whilst Crowler was anxious to hear Akaba's opinion, Akaba was sitting in his office deep in thought.
Afrer a few silent seconds he finally replied "Duel him. If he manages to beat you then I will consider it."
If the student Crowler talked about could defeat him in the duel, then he would be sure of his skills, a valuable asset and tool in the future he planned.
"I understand." Ending the call Crowler turned to the boy who looked like he didn't ask for most unreasonable thing "The academia's head has informed me that he will agree to your request if you win against me in a duel."
Ryoken was satisfied with the answer, and nodded. of course it all came down to a duel.
As he had previously stated, there's nothing you can't get in this world as long as you can win in a duel.
As the two moved away to another platform, the students also followed from the stands, trying to get a seat close to the arena to watch the duel.
By no means professor Crowler was weak. Sure many students didn't like his attitude and attire, but he actually was a good teacher with great skills in dueling.
The only one they knew would have a chance of beating him would be the academia's king, Zane Truesdale.
Zane took off his Blue coat which was the signature outfit of Blue dorm, making Alexis look at him with a unreadable expression.
"Why did you take it off?"
"I'm just preparing to move into the new dorm." Zane replied nonchalantly, expecting Ryoken's win, which once again left Alexis bewildered.

Ryoken didn't simply ask for the new dorm just to screw up with the academia, well atleast not as his main goal.
The main reason was that by getting his own dorm, he would have the chance to gather powerful allies to help him stop the professor's plans.
Sure he could brute force through anyone standing in his way by dueling them, but that act of dueling was time taking and also tired him.
So let's run a scenario where he alone is facing 30 duelists. If he were to even duel 3 at a time, he would need to go through 10 different duels.
And that is if those previously defeated wouldn't have recovered by the time he beat others. So having allies was useful as they could take care of the canon fodders while he duels someone like Akaba.
Also, the system already had generated a mission for him to motivate him further.
[Objectives]
1. Win against the named character (Professor Crowler) in the Duel.
2. Beat Your opponent under 6 Turns.
3. Beat opponents Ace monster, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem.
4. Complete all the challenges on this mission.
5. Win without cheating or using cheap tactics. (Yes master, you must shuffle your deck.)
6. Win the Duel whilst using a (HERO) deck and making a miracle comeback.

6) 1 Spirit ticket (Level 8 cards and below)
Ignoring the systems remark about him shuffling his deck, Ryoken's attention was immediately on the spirit ticket.
After these years, he finally could get another spirit, a high level one if he was lucky.
As a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, he obviously had created a Hero deck but had decided to keep it hidden. But seeing the reward he knew he had to use it.
"Professor Crowler as I respect you, I will use my main deck and full strength against you."
The instructor who was defeated by him before felt his heart breaking as he wasn't even beaten by the students main deck.
"Then I shall also grace you by using my Ancient Gear Golem deck."
Ryoken took out his deck from his pocket and shuffled it before putting it into his duel disk. Crowler did the same as the two got ready for their duel.

"I'll go first!" Ryoken declared as he looked at his cards briefly, forming a strategy.
"I summon Elemental Hero Stratos in the attack position!"

"Stratos effect activates, when summoned I can add a Hero card from my deck to my hand. I add Elemental Hero Blazeman to my hand."
Aster, sitting in the stands looked at the duel with a glint of interest in his eyes as he saw a fellow Hero user.
Ryoken then proceeded to put 2 cards face down and end his turn.
Turn 2
Draw Phase
"I draw." Crowler declared calmly, drawing a card from his unique duel disk.
Ryoken LP: 4000 (3 Cards)
Dr. Crowler LP: 4000 (6 Cards)
Main Phase 1
"First I set two cards face down, next from my hand I activate the spell card Heavy storm to destroy all the spell and trap cards on the field!"
"He cleared Ryoken's back line, but why would he set 2 cards before that..." One of the students from the red dorm Muttered.
"And that's why you're in the red dorm. That's part of Dr. Crowler's tactic." A boy with messy black hair said, belonging to the Blue dorm.
As the heavy storm swept the field, only Elemental Hero Stratos remained in the field. Then two golden statues appeared on crowler's field.
"The 2 set cards on my field were the trap card statue of the wicked. When destroyed, I can summon 1 Wicked Token."

"I tribute both of my tokens to tribute summon my ace! Appear level 8! Ancient Gear Golem!"
The two tokens disappeared into light particles, giving birth to a new monstrosity. A gigantic golem appeared on the field, one of its eyes glowing red as it looked at Ryoken.

I noticed that whenever I'm writing in the webnovel app the amount of misspellings get increased for no apparent reason so started writing in my notes which proved to be better.
Wanted to edit some chapters to correct misspellings, but that rose a question. If I rewrite, will comments be deleted? If anyone knows the answer I'd be happy to know.

As it stands she will be the heroine unless we go for a harem or any other option gets more votes than her.
