It wrapped Goye tightly, and Leon had already taken in all of his power.
"Looks like my guess was right. As long as I keep control, the absorbed target won't influence my mind or personality." Leon studied the cocoon and came to a conclusion.
Kid Buu never cared about that—he absorbed recklessly, letting the swallowed minds erode his own, which is how Fat Buu was born.
Later, Fat Buu realized the problem, but during that period he hadn't absorbed any truly powerful beings.
Then came Super Buu.
He fully understood the issue, suppressed Fat Buu, and didn't let Fat Buu distort his own personality.
Only after Vegeta ripped Fat Buu free did Kid Buu reappear.
Super Buu absorbed Gotenks, Piccolo, and Gohan—yet his core personality didn't change that much.

"Still, just to be safe—time for you to disappear completely." Leon traced the air with five fingers. One after another, magic sigils flared and sank into the cocoon.
Goye couldn't even muster a scream before Leon shattered his soul outright.
All that remained was a pure bundle of spiritual energy.
Leon absorbed it without ceremony.
Mind and body power surged together.
"What's this?"
With Goye utterly erased, a gray, misty rune glimmered before Leon. He lifted a hand; the rune dropped into his palm.
It radiated an esoteric, ineffable presence.
"This is…" Leon blinked back to focus. "A divinity!"
He'd seen mention of such things in Kamar-Taj's grimoires.
With a divinity, you can grant your power to others.
With a divinity, you have the right to be called a god.
No matter how weak—you're still a god.
A Demon God? Still a kind of god.
Only… this particular divinity didn't seem directly usable.
Leon's thoughts turned to the godly aura he'd skimmed from Dragon Ball—the Super Saiyan God ki.
Thin strands of crimson god-ki bloomed in his hand.
He guided the SSG aura into the shard of divinity.
In an instant, the divinity erupted like a blaze.
Then it dissolved into countless sigils and merged into his body.
A mysterious, layered sensation welled up in Leon's heart—something… different. He couldn't pin down what had changed, only that it felt profoundly other.
When he opened his eyes, the Great Ape form had already receded.
He stood on the ground—bare.
But his entire being had changed.
First, his physique—denser, harder. Muscle felt like tempered steel; even a slight movement carried explosive force. It was a completely different feel from before.
He glanced down to gauge his Battle Power.
Four million!
A world apart from before.
Roughly the Namek-era tier—Goku vs. Frieza.
Three million base.
With Kaio-ken ×20, that's sixty million.
Super Saiyan would be 150 million, steamrolling Frieza's ~120 million.
Next step: he needed to provoke a breakthrough.
He needed rage.
Leon thought about it… and realized he couldn't quite get angry.
Life had been a bit too smooth lately.
Of course, nothing's absolute. With gifted Saiyans, the right method can trigger transformation even without anger.
Take Goten, Kid Trunks, and Caulifla—through practice, they learned to mobilize their inner energy and transform on command. In Super, it even made Goku look like a clown: turning Super Saiyan without rage by focusing energy at the back.
Leon tried concentrating power between the shoulder blades.
Great! …Nothing happened.
"Forget it. I'll study it back home."
Snap!
He flicked his fingers—clothes formed around him.
At the same time, a portal opened beside him. The Ancient One stepped through.
"You defeated the Demon God, Goye?" She surveyed the battlefield, visibly shaken.
Leon had really put down a Demon God.
"Indeed. Not long ago." Leon nodded, then paused. "Master, this is a divinity I took from Goye after killing him. Do you know how to use it?"
He raised his palm; the earlier divinity reappeared.
No longer ashen gray—it now shone the crimson hue of Super Saiyan God, altered by the god-ki it had absorbed.
Leon felt it could be used—but how, exactly, he didn't know.
Might as well ask the Ancient One. She'd seen more, read more—and liked to jaunt through time. She'd have a way.
"This is a divinity—the essence of Goye's godhood, transformed. You can actually wield a divinity." The Ancient One looked up at Leon. "Demon God Goye is dead. You are the new god."
