Chapter 38 - CHAPTER 38: sister

But she couldn't tell Leo Grant any of this; she just brushed it off lightly.

"I've heard of it," he said, nodding slightly, pretending to believe her.

As they entered the main hall, several elegantly dressed women stood in two neat rows.

"Hello, Mr. Grant," they greeted in unison.

Oliver Grant snorted, "You sure know how to enjoy yourself."

Leo Grant accepted the "compliment" with a smile. "Thanks for the praise."

At that moment, a woman approached Leo Grant's side.

"It's been a while, Third Young Master. I see you finally remembered your sister today."

Leo's smile appeared only after he heard her playful voice. "Mary Johnson, how could I forget you? I've just been busy promoting my new show since it premiered recently."

"Oh, is that so? Just make sure you don't forget to support your sister next time," she replied with a teasing tone.

Not far away, Ella Grant watched as the graceful figure of Mary Johnson drew closer. Although her tone was light, Elle could tell that Mary was no ordinary woman; she had the skills of a fighter.

It made sense—who could run a successful business in the vast Z City without some kind of talent?

Unfortunately, under her hands, Mary Johnson would probably only be able to pull off one move.

Ella Grant's gaze lingered on her for just a moment before shifting to the surroundings.

"Alright, what look are we going for today? I've got everything you need, sis," Mary Johnson declared, waving her hand grandly, exuding a strong, confident vibe.

Leo Grant quickly nudged Ella forward.

"This time, it's not me doing the styling; it's my sister!"

Mary's interest piqued. "So, this is the talented Stella Grant from Z City? I've heard so much about you."

"Don't worry, I've got this covered," Mary replied confidently.

Leo shook his head. "No, you've got it wrong this time. This is my other sister, Ella Grant."

"Why would I bring Stella Grant here? That's a joke," Mary said, momentarily taken aback.

"Oh, really? I guess I misjudged," she replied, recovering quickly. "Let me see what my sister has to offer."

With that, Mary Johnson gathered Ella's loose hair, revealing her delicate oval face. Her skin was as white as snow, her brows elegantly arched, her nose petite, and her lips like cherry blossoms—every feature was exquisitely beautiful.

The only thing that felt out of place
