Jay's POV
The next day classes went in a blur and we were in different classes due our change in minor subject.
After finishing the classes I went to the near by garden just to sit by myself and listen to music, it is a habit of mine to sit somewhere in a peaceful place and clam myself down, it was a small garden , I was looking around it was beautiful garden filled with flowers.
I noticed an old couple , they are about my grandparents age, the old man was teasing and feeding his wife who clearly faked being angry at him and I smiled to myself seeing and I also thought will I ever be able to find a love like this , a love that stays no matter what, and I didn't know why tears pooled in eyes by the mere thought itself, I quickly stood up and turned around to leave only to notice
Kiefer.
He was buying ice cream to two little kids, and that scene made me smile, I know I should have left this place but something made me go towards him.
He smiled upon seeing me.
K: What flavour do you want?
J: I just shook my head indicating a no
K: "oh, come on everyone deserves ice cream"
I just know we aren't going to move from this place unless he gets me an ice cream, so I just gave in
J: "Cookie and cream"
He ordered for me and himself and went to the kids who are done with their ice cream and I smiled at their conversation
Kids: Thanks brother for the ice cream.
K: It's okay but you guys have to pay me back remember and tapped on his cheeks and the kids gave him a cheek kiss and thanked him again and left
Then he came towards me with our ice cream,
J: I didn't you were the play with kids kinda guy
K: What can I say I am just full of surprises
I just laughed at him
J:" What are doing here?"
K:"Nothing, I just wanted to go for a walk and I noticed these kids eyeing for the ice cream and helped them with that" he said it with a smile
And I just realized that I can have conversations with him easily
K:"So, tell me about your day?"
And I smiled remembering the night when he said that he wants to know how my day was
J:"Nothing special, I just had lectures all day and I got exhausted and I just wanted to relax myself , so I went to the garden and listened to music" and I smiled remembering the old couple
K:"Wow, you are smiling something good happened?"
J:" I just saw a cute old couple and it made me realize how many times they have chosen each other despite everything they might have gone through."
K:"I didn't realize you were this romantic."
J:"I am not , I just feel happy when I see people in Love"
K:"How about you, have you been in Love?" he asked me in a soft voice and looking into my eyes
I just chuckle and nod my head in sideways and say "Love is not my cup of tea",
K:" I just think you are lying to yourself"
after hearing that from him I become self aware of myself as if he is seeing the layers of myself that I don't want anyone to see and I change the topic by asking
J:"Have you ever been in love?"
