J: " Have you ever been in Love?"
He was clearly shocked by the question but it quickly changed into a smile
K: " Not yet, But I think it is going to happen soon"
he said looking gently into my eyes. and I think I know what he meant but we just continued to stare into each other eyes and the world felt like it stopped .
We soon came back into reality by my phone ringing, it was Sara asking about whereabouts.
We left the place and started walking towards our dorm, both of us were silent, it wasn't awkward but it was different because of the sudden realisation from the both of us that what our equation might turn into, and to be honest it scared me alot .
We reached the dorm, and I was about bid goodbye, he started hesitantly
K: " Can I ask you something?"
I just nodded a little hesitant not knowing what he was about to ask.
K: " Tomorrow, there will be a tryouts for the freshers basketball team, and I would be happy if you are there to support me"
To be honest I was little stunned by his approach and I did not reply immediately and I know he waiting for my reply and he looked a little scared and I just said
J: " why would you want me there?"
K: " I think you will be me lucky charm" he said smiling and looking directly into my eyes
Which made me blush but I quickly hid it
J: " what if you don't get selected and you put the blame on me?" I asked him
but both of us know this wasn't about the tryouts, it was about something delicate that been forming between that even though neither of us acknowledged openly knew it existed.
K: " You know I will never blame even if I did not get selected, I will still be happy that you came to support me and that support is enough for me and also I will get selected."
After he said that I know he wanted me to believe in him and honestly a part of me did.
J: " Wow, so cocky ."
He laughed and replied "Not cocky, Just confidence."
K: " So, will you be there?"
I hesitated a little and he noticed that
and
said, " You know not everything has to be scary,sometimes you can just go with the flow."
And I know what he meant and I smiled looking in his eyes and
said " I'll be there, text me the details, Bye. "
He smiled and said " and I'll be waiting, Bye. "
