George Stacy's kidnapping and the photos found on the office wall were all part of a calculated plan by Bullseye. He first utilized Elektra to capture the Director, then deliberately left the photos and subtle clues behind. His purpose was to attract the two new-generation Superheroes: Batman and Spider-Woman.
Bullseye reasoned that since Batman could create such high-technology battle suits, he must also be capable of obtaining internal information from the police department. As a new hero who had just debuted, Bullseye believed Batman would have no reason to stand by and do nothing. Bullseye and Elektra only needed to set up an ambush to easily bury the two "rookies."
The Assassins' Standoff
Originally, Elektra did not want to be manipulated by Bullseye. however, after Kingpin heard the plan and found it effective, he ordered her to cooperate. Under duress, Elektra reluctantly agreed, but she swore in her heart that once the heroes arrived, she would surpass Bullseye in skill right in front of Kingpin, striving to become his new number-one assassin. In her eyes, the opponents were just two rookies with no combat experience, making the task easy.
After Kingpin spoke through the phone, the mad Bullseye finally reined in his murderous intent.
"Understood, boss, I'll save George Stacy for last!"
"Very good, I look forward to your performance! Elektra, approximately when will those two rookie heroes find this place?"
Elektra replied to Kingpin's question:
"According to the clues I left, those two rookies should find this place by midnight tonight! If their experience is too poor, the time might be pushed back a bit!"
"In that case, you still have enough time to prepare, don't disappoint me!"
With that, the call ended, and the scent of gunpowder reappeared between the two assassins.
The Arrival of the Metal Giant
High above the abandoned dock, giant god soldier no. 1 activated its thrusters, standing silently in the sky as the dark clouds dispersed and moonlight spilled down. A red light flashed in the machine's mechanical eyes. Peter's electronic synthesized voice emanated from beneath the metal mask:
"Gwen, from the results calculated by deep blue, Uncle George should be in the dock below."
At this moment, Gwen had already put on her suit, transforming into the crime-fighting Spider-Woman. A chilling aura enveloped her, and the original lightsaber gifted by Peter hung at her waist, its metal hilt gleaming under the moonlight.
"Then when do we act?"
"Don't rush, let me switch to infrared thermal imaging view to see the situation inside first."
Through the mechanical eyes, Peter saw three red human silhouettes inside the warehouse.
"The one tied up should be Uncle George; his body temperature is normal, so he should not be in life-threatening danger. We can confirm the location. There are only two enemies; we'll each take one! Let's finish this quickly!"
The Ambush Reversed
Inside the warehouse, Elektra and Bullseye were preparing to move when a massive sound erupted from above.
Boom!
Shattered iron sheets rained down directly on their positions. Elektra's reaction was lightning-fast; she darted forward and executed a series of rolls. Bullseye manage to roll out of the range just in time, but then his vision went dark. A loud thud echoed as a heavy object landed, sending vibrations through the ground that knocked him off his feet.
A huge metal hand gripped Bullseye's head, lifting him up. Dark red mechanical eyes lit up in the darkness, illuminating his face.
"Ho-how is this possible... Who exactly are you?"
Bullseye was horrified to find himself in the grasp of a five-meter-tall metal giant. He launched a desperate counterattack, his hands moving in a blur as he unleashed a "storm of pear blossoms"—countless steel needles as thin as hair aimed at the giant's eyes.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The needles sparked and deflected harmlessly off the giant's defense. Bullseye was completely dumbfounded as his pinpoint accuracy proved useless.
The Sentence
The gate on the giant's back opened, and Peter stepped out.
"Batman? It's you?"
Peter coldly glanced at Bullseye, instantly recognizing him. Then, his gaze shifted to George Stacy. Witnessing the battered and miserable appearance of Gwen's father, an unprecedented chilling murderous intent erupted in Peter's eyes.
"Bullseye? Today, I'll make you blind!"
Peter drew his lightsaber, and the blade light erupted, drawing a sharp crescent in the air.
Buzz!
Bullseye felt a sharp pain in his eyes. A shallow red line appeared horizontally across his pupils and the bridge of his nose. A breath later, gruesome red liquid gushed out from the line. The man who never missed a target was now blind.
