In reality he knew that it won't work but he still went for the climbing as a last option and so got on the top of the tree and waited, eyes still glowing and golden hue around him still present albeit a little dim but present, a minute passed by and the carasitic insects were upon him. Adam looking at them hoping that they don't climb after him, hoping they wouldn't reach him, praying he may be spared
' God please, they shouldn't know how to climb, i would do everything i would help people and will be a good person i would be on front line, i would never be stubborn, just please save me, save me from them ' he begged while climbing.
Looking at the insects desperately waiting for the first insect to reach the tree to see weather it will climb or not and as the first one reach the tree. Adam hopes reached the peak, desperation maxed out but the insects started climbing and a shout was heard.
' fuck No. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckkk'
They're climbing speed was slow but not that it mattered because the trees were not infinite, the insects started reaching near and near to adam. Adam looked around in the state of panic, thinking what to do, he look around he saw the branches of other trees mangeled with each other so he went from his own tree to the adjecent one and started climbing to the next trees, he looked behind and surely so he was being followed by the insects but due to the limited space only a few of them could follow him. Others were behind in a line following the first few insects while the others were waiting on the ground following the previous ones but as soon as Adam move on to the next tree the carasitic insects followed him from the previous tree as well as the ground carasitic insect started climbing the next tree as well
Adam started moving from tree to tree looking at the insects, his power depleting, the golden hue getting dim and the eyes slowly coming back to their original color.
The muscle have started to ache and heart beat started increasing again the body temperature up and he was feeling the releasing heat of his body into the atmosphere, it had been an hour that he was changing the trees and the thoughts of accepting his death was creeping inside his brain. He had started to feel the pain coming from everyone part of the body not severe tough but this was a clear sign the his ability was not active anymore or even if it's active, only a few minutes remaining but something unusual happened as Adam changed another tree the carasitic insects stopped climbing on to the next one and same was the case for the ground carasitic insects, they also stopped climbing the next trees. They were still their but not coming on further, Adam was surprised to see this as well as relieved, he had none understanding of what had happened but still, all is well that ends well and for now he just came out of the the death door avoiding it by the hairs breath. Now he has to figure somethings out if he wanted to survive, and this chase from the death had given him many lessons. Still he was not totally out of danger but his life was not immediately threatened.
Adam stayed on the tree looking at the carasitic insects which were present at the boundary of the tree. Not climbing it remaining at the previous tree, not even touching it. So Adam concluded that either they are repulsive to this specific tree or they can not come past a specific region. Adam mind was working like calculator, simulating many thoughts and coming up with a conclusion at the same time. Right Now he can't be sure but if the insects are not crossing a boundary, he was much inclined to the reason that he has stepped into the reign of another specie,he had not given up the possibility where both the conclusions may turn out to be true but he can't be sure until he does some experiment, he can't for now because every muscle in his body was shouting out of pain. Just as his eyes turned back to normal a serge of pain entered his body, he couldn't move a muscle, even a slightest of movement increased the pain. Adam pain tolerance was not very high living as a regular human being his whole life, his pain tolerance was also normal so at present when the pain reached unbearable, darkness crept in his eyes and he became unconscious. Which was an automatic reaction of human body.
He woke up after some hours. The pain was still their, reduced a bit but surely not gone. He moved his body to see how does it react, movement seemed to be fine but it came together with a lot of pain and a loud shout of ' FUCK ' came with it. He was not willing to move anymore so he lie down and closed his eyes, when he opened his eyes again, some more hours have gone by. He checked with the movement again nothing much have changed. Pain was still their but a bit less. Adam had come to an understanding that he had to carry on with this pain he had no other choice. He got up and climbed to the next tree to see the reaction of the insects. The insects position remain the same. It's like they were avoiding coming further but they were not leaving the boundary as well hoping for their prey to come back. Adam gradually started to climb down to the ground. He waited just before touching the ground. Just as he touched the ground. He saw a movement in the insect all the insects that were behind suddenly put pressure on the insects that were toward the boundary so quantity towards the imaginary boundary increased and due to the the sudden rush. Some of the insects were pushed past the boundary but they quickly went back. Adam lips curled into a smile without even realizing as he planned the next move. When he noticed that he was smiling, he wondered ' have i turned into a physco '
