It took Amelia 5 minutes to recover. She got up and sat on the ground normalizing her breathing. After her breathing normallized, she looked at him furiously. He looked back at her with a smile
" You should say thankyou to a person that have helped you with something "

She replied furiously
" You are an animal. You...., you don't know how to treat a royalty. Leave the Royalty part aside, you don't even know how to treat a girl. "
" I don't need to know and I don't think i have done something wrong. We wanted the same thing and i came up with a solution, executed it and here we are with end result. Adam grabbed her arm and pulled her up. A sharp shriek came out of her mouth. Adam lokked at her
" What now "
" I am injured, you idiot. Don't rush me "
" I just fed you this whole stuff. Didn't you get healed up already "
" Noooo, what are you, an idiot. It was not a potion that would heal me in an instant. It will atleast take me 12 hour before i get proper recovery. "
" I got all healed up. So why can't you. "
" I don't know, maybe because i am a human and you're not. "
He looked at her with side eyes.
" I am a human and i take normal recovery time as all humans do "
" The only other possibility is your ability. It must have something to do with something that gets you healed up speedily "
He nodded in agreement and started walking back. She had no idea where they both were going, so she asked
" Where are you taking me. We shouldn't roam around here warringly. This place is dangerous. "
" I am talking you to zone boundary. That place is a bit safer. What i have learned till now is that all the species are not friendly towards each other and there's a tree on which we will accommodate."
" But trees are accessible to the spiders "
" Yes, but this specific tree is somewhat special i think, because the insects avoid it. At least that's what i think. Still not sure but eventually we will know. "
She looked at him with confusion but kept quiet. She was walking with a lot of pain. Her recovery has increased at an incredible speed still every step was making her ache in pain and quiet groans were leaving her mouth every know and then. Her groans were very quiet. She didn't wanted him to hear her groans and thought of her as some week noble girl who was emotionally hypersensitive and cried at every little thing. In her heart she knew, it was the truth but she never wanted anyone to find out. She always held back her tears whenever something or someone made her cried. She never cried in front of anyone to prove her strong mentality, only a few people knew her truth. She didn't wanted a random guy to know her truth. She was keeping her tears back. Half of energy was being spent on that. Her throat was hurting badly, always happened whenever she held her tears back. Right now, she was holding a lot of her tears back and for quite sometime now. Adam comment about her being emotional and crying took her off guard, she didn't realize, she was crying and even with a lot of frustration and anger in her, she couldn't say anything to him. Anything she would have said would assist his comment of her being emotional, so she kept quiet and maybe it was not the case and he would not think of her that way but may be he would
" Damn it. I am over thinking things."
She thought.
Yet another thing she was dealing with was overthinking, she has been holding on to all the anger, frustrating, insecurity and tears inside since they started walking adding to her burden.
" Can we please stop here. It's been 3 hours and i want to take rest. I can't walk anymore. "
Adam nodded his head in agreement and how could he not, he had heard all her thoughts. She had a bad habbits of thinking out aloud. Normally it wasn't a problem because every thought spoken by her was so quiet that no one could hear it. Adam on the other hand heard all her thoughts. Now he knows she wanted to cry, she was crying inside. He didn't know what to do. It was his first time someone was crying in front of him. Practically she was not crying but now he knows that she was crying and he didn't know how to console her. It wasn't his cup of tea. His mind was totally blank. He was now regretting being harsh on her.
" Damn it, way my senses had to enhance my hearing. "
He though, and not only his hearing but also his senses. His 6 sense was keeping him aware of the condition she was in. He was feeling sorry for her. He was feeling sorry for himself as well. He had been in a sorry state for some time now but evaluating both himself and her. She was in a more bad shape, both mentally and physically. He could sense her energy not feeling positive. It started turning negative since he commented on her. He sat down beside a tree, his eyes on her. She was in a rough shape. Her clothes dirty, she was dirty as well. Still looking at her, one could say she was pretty. He looked at her and his lips said
" Cute "
Not a voice he heard. But he said and heard himself. Even in her sorry state she was not repulsive. He saw her laying down on the ground and looking at the sky. She pulled a handkerchief out of her pocket and put it on her mouth. He saw her shoulders trembling, knew she was crying quietly. She didn't wanted him to know but he knew. He could see and sense her trembling shouder and energy both telling him that she was crying. He felt bad for her at the moment, stuck here between the enemy,no one to console her.
He though all that but nodded his head left and right throwing her thoughts out of his mind. He had more important things to think about, for example escape from this hellish place and now he had a companion who could her him do that. He had to plan the things ahead. He closed his eyes and started planning things ahead.
