' i will send them to hell. They thought that they would be spared, i will be your enemy till death ' Adam concluded his thoughts after planning his next move, he was starving and surely he would not rely on leaves again. One experience was enough for the day but needed to eat something and the food was right in front of him. Insects may be disgusting but they were protein so that was an obvious choice for him.
Now the hunting doesn't seems to be very difficult. An insect of the size of hand was easy to kill if the quantity was not the problem. Right now the quantity was still the same but now they can't get passed a certain region. The only thing he needed was the weapon, that too was not really needed to crush an insect but he didn't want to get his hand dirty and so he plucked a branch out of the tree and went behind the last tree as soon as he reached near the tree. Some insects crossed the boundary abandoned their positions but only a few. Adam stared at them
' rebellions bastards '
Adam though, but not to worry. Adam crushed each one with a firm strike of his fist. He had the branch for the same purpose but when they came near him, his rage forced him to abandon the branch and crush them with his own fist and he continued that for a whole minute. Finally breathing heavily he became a bit composed and took two steps back and the rebellious insects that were crossing the boundary started reducing and finally stopped. Adam looked at the crushed insects and they were not in a condition which can be eaten. They were completely crushed. Adam could feel some changes in himself as well. Muscle ache and the pain due to movement reduced a lot, but he could not exactly pin point what has changed, his pain was surely decreased other than that he could not figure out. He removed all the thoughts in his mind and continued with what he originally had planned. He picked up the branch and broke another from the tree, now with one branch in each hand and took the previous position. The same thing happened again. Some insects started crossing the boundary and directly towards their deaths. Adam strikes were firm and accurate but not very powerful. He reduced the power so to only kill them. After a minute or soo he had enough to eat.
Their was no source of fire so he could only eat them raw, not delicious they were but eatable. Atleast at the time they were. Eating them was magical as well. It was like instant protein and muscles recovery, all the pain was gone after the meal and Adam could feel his muscles become more strong and tough. How much tough that he didn't know. Obviously still in the range of humans but not your average dull person with a white collar job. He was near to a person working at the fields.
' So what should i do next ' he thought
' maybe i will kill some more'
And so he went to the same spot again and started crushing them again till he was out of breath, again a feeling of something being changed inside him arose, he ignored the feeling. Looking at all the dead and crushed insects he shouted
' that's what you get bastards '
Saying it aloud he calmed himself and started replying the whole scenario in his mind. Adam need to move forward, he needed to escape this hellish place alive and for that to happen he need to be cautious and that was exactly what he was doing being cautious.
Suddenly he opened his eyes and started moving in the opposite way, since the start of the chase, the direction he had choose was not a fluke, when his ability awakend and in the state of his senses heightened, he heard a noise, couldn't make much of the things being spoken but surely enough something was spoken so Adam knew that it must be a human otherwise their should only be noise not spoken words. This though made him follow this direction, he was hopefull that the human could possibly help him getting rid of these vile creature but after running for so long he wasn't able to reach the person who hopefully was a human, so now that insects were dealt with, it was time to move forward, so needed information and where could he get the information, from another person if he was not a person like Adam meaning useless.
Adam continue for 6 hours walking into the direction he thought was the right, he didn't produce extra sounds as to reduce the chance of encounter with anything actually. He didn't know anything about this place so the best way was stealth. He continued walking. He already have made an assumption about the person
' he sure is dumb. Shouting so loud that i could hear him from miles away. What did he think that other wouldn't hear him, idiot, maybe i am judging too early, maybe he is powerful that's why he shouted so he can hunt species here instead of finding them he is calling them out. I mean it is a possibility but if that's not the case, he is a dumb idiot '
Telling himself not to judge early but still judging he continued moving forward. His condition seemed alright, no injuries and pain anywhere, instead he looked better than when he came here, looking cautiously for something or someone, and finally wait was over, he could hear the sound of hmmmhh hmmmmhh hmmmhh growing louder and louder every second, he followed the sound causiouly taking cover behind the trees from one to another untill he saw someone. He shrugged
' Fuck, ahhhhhh that dumb bitch. why am i even saying dumb. She is female so that's obvious ' spitting on the ground he started running towards the girl, which was caught in the web of a spider.
