Adam looked at her with confusion
" I am telling you, you'll get all healed up once you kill the spider"
" Who told you that. It doesn't work like this. Are you really from the camps, if you're not then how come you're here "
Adam gave her a side eye
" Obviously i am from the camps. I wouldn't be here if i was not from the camps "
" Ohhhhhh, if you are from the camps as you say then why are you asking such silly questions. Everyone knows killing anything would increase your spirit not heal a person "
Adam didn't respond. He just helped her in getting up and put her arm around his shoulder and started walking towards the spider taking her with him. She looked at him with her light blue oceanic eyes. People definitely would have drowned in those eyes cuz of how pretty they were. She had to look diagonaly up towards him. Adam was taller then her. He was adament to prove his point. Their was no confusion on his face. As if he was saying let me show you practically what I meant. He took her to the spider and handed his his ice shard to her. She grabbed it from his hand. Adam pointed towards the spider
" Just above the teeth, strike it "
He was a man of few world she presumed
" I know, it's brain is present their. It's his fatal point. By the way how did you know. The way you were fighting i thought you didn't know about the weak points "
" I didn't until you told me. After that i just started to know more as i kept fighting. Now before you remember something else, kill it first "
She nodded in agreement and looked at the spider, crawling from it's four legs but not going much far away, she got on the top of it from behind and attacked the brain by pushing the shard pointed end inside the brain. She felt her spirit recovered by large margin. She looked at Adam and found him looking straight back at her with a shocking look on his face. He still wasn't ready to accept that she hadn't recover.
" This can't be. I swear i just killed the same thing and i am fully recovered. How come you are not recovered when i am fully healed "
This time the shock was for Amelia
" What did you say. You're healed, like really. This is odd. I haven't heard anything like this before but if i had to guess than I'll say it must be your ability otherwise, i haven't seen any ability users healing by killing someone or something "
Adam replied
" You may not have seen anyone doesn't mean their isn't anyone. You haven't seen each and every one. Their must be people with this ability. Just say, you, don't know them "
" I haven't seen all but still i have seen many and much more than you atleast and from all of them, their was none who got healed by killing someone "
Adam smirked
" Well, there's always a first time for everything "
She stared at him, didn't wanted to lose an argument, thought for a sec and smiled
" Ohhhhhh, i remember something "
He lookedat her and urged her to continue
" I remember reading it in our course book where some beasts and monsters have the ability to heal themselves when they kill anyone "
" So, what's your point "
" My point is, i have seen nor heard of the human doing such a thing but talking about beast and monsters, yup definitely have, are you sure you're not one "
She smiled looking at him. Adam didn't gave her any reaction of anger or embarrassment. He didn't want to give her the joy of victory. He just turned his back on her and started walking. She looked at him going away and panicked thinking he would left her
" Where are you going. You're not gonna leave me on a small funny argument, are you "
" No, i am not gonna leave you, instead, i have another method for healing you. I will try that "
She look at him who was walking towards his first kill with shard in his hand. When he reached near the spider, he looked at the shard, then at Amelia
" Make me dagger of the same size, you can, right! "
" Not before, but now my spirit has recovered, so yes "
With this she started using her ability. Her eyes start giving an icy blue color and a oceanic blue hue formed around her. Adam looked at her focusing on the details of changes. He had to know about the abilities as much as possible. Amelia made two daggers in an instant. Icy daggers were sharp and beautiful, as if it's a work of a professional Craftsman. She put the daggers in the ground and adjecent to the daggers, she put her hand on the ground, a small icy path was formed from Amelia to Adam. She put the dagger about the path and behind the piller an icy slib was formed. She used her ability to move the slib that was not detached from the icy path. She could control the movement of the slib as it was stll a part of icy path, doing so she made the dagger travel from her side of path to the other. Adam focused on each and every detail with the look of amusement. When the dagger reached him. He picked them from the ground and hold it in his right hand using reverse grip. He made a few slashes in the air, testing his new weapon. Looking at the dagger he asked
" It will not break. Would it "
She replied
" I think not, my shards and spear have worked on grade 5 insect species so i think on grade 3 insects species, they won't break "
" Good" Adam mumbelled
Adam held the legs and used the dagger on the joints, saperating the legs, all 8 and then started to remove teeth and whole outer shell.
She was looking at him and then she knew what he meant when he said, he had another method and frankly speaking she was one of those kind who would rather be with injuries than to use this method.
