Amelia collected a lot more leaves from the tree and freezed the whole bunch of them in a ice cube. She was looking excited to try a new thing. This will make a whole lot of things easier for her she can freeze many things in a single cube. She put the cube inside the M bag but it didn't went in. Her smile disappeared. She unfreezed the leaves and put only 4 in the bag. Adam looked inside the bag, he couldn't see anything so he asked
" What else you got inside "
" It's private things i won't tell you "
" Right now, our survival depends on each other so don't put privacy between us. Bring all the things out "

She exhaled a large breath from her mouth and brought out the things from her bag "
A lipstick, makeup kit and 2 more makeup products which Adam didn't know the names of along with the 2 sanitary pads. Adam was shocked looking at these things. He exchanged looks between Amelia and her stuff twice.
" You're kidding me right. We are here out in the forest and instead of any useful things like weapons or anything useful. You brought all this useless stuff. Wow. "
" How is it useless. Every girl need this and so do I "

Adam turned serious and started staring at her, his eyes started piercing hers turning a bit golden a subtle change noticed by her

Adam sensed a hint of fear in her, she didn't want to be alone. He was a dumb wild piece of shit but still he saved her when she was knocking at the death door. He has been rude and ruthless towards her but for what he had done she could forgive him her whole life. It was the first time someone stood up for her, protected her. There was always enemies around her all her life, even her closest of friends were there because of her influence and authority. There was no one who came to her rescue when she was being sent here in mottar. On the other hand, he didn't know her title but still saved her and when she mentioned her being a royalty in between the conversation to get treatment from him, it doesn't seem to affect him at all, meaning he saw her without filters. Now when someone like that protected her, she held him in high regards in her heart. She was not accepting it herself but in reality, she did. So when he got serious about leaving her, she got afraid, afraid of losing him, a companion who was with her not because of her status.

She said depressingly. Adam took more leaves from the tree and hand it over to her. He grinded some of the leaves by chewing them and applied it on his face and arm and told Amelia to do the same. Amelia looked reluctant to do so
" Why do i need to apply it, i haven't eaten mite tree "
" I was very clear just now, if you want to survive and come along, follow my instructions."
Adam himself needed her. She had profound knowledge of everything. She could make quality weapon. So she was a must in their survival. Adam knew all that but he also knew, she would not leave him. He could sense her discomfort so he used it to his advantage. A cheap trick by any standard. He was a street smart kid and now had Sharp senses. He knew how to use everything to his advantage, he felt a bit bad for her, his conscience was telling him to feel bad.
" Look , i am not much of speaker but these leaves will hide your smell as well, they are your enemy as well not like mine but when they smell you and decided to persue you, what will you do then. Amelia chewed the leaves and apply it on her arms and neck. She tried to apply it on her face but just on the verge of applying her hands dropped. She couldn't do it. She tried but couldn't. Her eyes were about to get watery when she felt two pairs of hand on her cheeks, then moved from her cheeks to chin and forehead. She looked at Adam

She thought out loud, looking at him shocked. Adam smiled
" Yes, i did. We didn't had time for drama. You were about to be dramatic so i just helped you and no need to thank me, you're always welcome "
Her face tured red, was it out of embarrassment, anger or both, she didn't know. Her eyes were shooting fire at him. As usual Adam turned his back on her and started walking totally ignoring her. She wanted to scream and shout at him. No one had ever made her that much angry as him and he did it effortlessly. He was feeling disgusted thinking someone else chewed leaves are now applied on her face. She remain standing watching him walk away from her in opposite direction. She took some deep breath trying to cool down her self. She started to tell herself
" He is gonna be like this. He is a dumb idiot. Amelia you need to be patient, stay calm Amelia. Divert your attention from him. "
She repeated the statement to herself in a low voice, that should only be heard by her and started following behind him. Adam was in front smiling at the words she was uttering about him.
