Their smell range would exceed upto 4 miles, once they will smell you they would call upon whole colony of their brothers. Moreover, the tree leves leves an energy smell that remains but only a few very powerful people could sense it other than the carasitic parasites. They could sense from 2 miles away. So whenever a person who had eaten it's leaves in the past appeara in their arc they will gather colony of their brothers and attack. It's like instant death, so everyone recommend not eating it. "
Adam looked at her heard her explaination. Now it was all making sense
