Seraphina
I let out a small breath, my heart still beating fast. My eyes dropped to Alec's lips and back to his eyes and my stomach flipped around at the intense look in his eyes which he then used in raking over my body. It was still shocking to see desire burning in his eyes for me, cause I never could believe someone like him could find someone like me attractive.
"Why?" I blurted dumbly even though the reason was quite obvious.
However, he let out a chuckle as he leaned even closer to me, his breath ghosting over my lips when he spoke.
"Because I've been unable to stop thinking of that night." He responded almost immediately and my breath caught in my throat.
I blinked, wondering if he was lying, but the earnest look in his eyes said otherwise. Shock engulfed me as I exhaled slowly because this whole time, I really thought that night was very bad for him.
"Oh, I…" I began when he suddenly rested a hand against my lip, shushing me.
"Have you been thinking about that night too?" He asked and my cheeks flushed as I slowly nodded, feeling extremely flustered. His body heat was ghosting into mine from our present positions and I wanted his hands on my waist again.
"Words," he echoed.
"Yeah, I have." I admitted shyly and he grinned, making my stomach clench tightly.
"Good. So, come home with me. I want to fuck you in my bed this time, where you belong," he decleared and my heart stuttered, a small sound spilling from my parted mouth.
Why was he saying things like that everytime? Like this was something real and not just a contract?
Instead of asking him that, I cleared my throat before speaking. "So… Can we wait until we sign the contract?" I asked and as his brows furrowed like I just denied him ice cream, I bit back a laugh.
"Why? We're gonna sign the contract tomorrow anyway, and the entire public now knows we're engaged." He pointed out before touching his thumb to my chin, making me shiver as he continued. "And you agreed to this in the deal."
Despite the heat swirling underneath my skin and the urge to listen to him and return home with him gripping me hard on the inside, I still shook my head, determined to remain in control right now.
Alec finally sighed and nodded, but he didn't pull away, instead, he leaned even closer to me.
"Alright, whatever you want, wife." He husked and as my heart jumped within me, I was about to remind him that we weren't married yet but he grasped my chin and tugged my head closer so only a small gap remained between us.
"But you should still give me a kiss."
My heart jumped hard as I exhaled shakily. "Huh?"
His lips twitched. "A kiss. Give me one."
My heart was racing hard as I blinked up at him, feeling ridiculously shy. Even though we've spent a night together some days ago, this still feels new all over again. Back then, I was buzzed and influenced by the alcohol, but right now, I was very clear headed.
"But we haven't signed the contract…" I began feebly but he shook his head.
"This wouldn't change a thing. C'mon, be a good girl and give me a kiss."
Listening to him speak to me like this had my stomach cramping up with heat and I had to squeeze my legs tightly while a small tremor went through my body.
I never even knew I liked being spoken to like that until some nights ago. Heathen never spoke to me like that before.
My mouth opened and closed a few times then I exhaled one last time before leaning close to him, my heart almost bursting out of my chest as I carefully brushed my lips against his. Shivers instantly shot through my entire body, then I pulled away, my lips tingling.
He grinned a little after I pulled away and I flushed, ducking my head from embarrassment. He leaned close to my ear, his lips brushing against my ear as he spoke.
"You're so adorable."
After that, he leaned back into the side of his seat and I remained fully aware of his presence throughout the car ride. We weren't touching anymore, but I could still feel his body heat against my side.
"Should I pick you up tomorrow on the way to the court?" He asked and I shook my head as I glanced at him, feeling flustered on realizing that his eyes were on me again.
"I'll just take a cab."
He hummed and remained silent after that, and we didn't speak until the car pulled up in Blair's house. When I alighted the car, he followed suit, holding my waist and walking me to the door and again, I forced myself not to ask why he was doing all this cause it wasn't hurting me.
"Sleep well, wife. I'll see you tomorrow, where you'll officially become mine." He murmured, then he was gone before I could utter a word.
