I blinked in utter shock. Never in my life did I ever imagine that those exact words would ever be said to me in a voice so fierce, it sent shivers down my spine.
"I… it doesn't matter who hurt me, it never does." I breathed out, which was the truth. It had never mattered to anyone since I could remember.
However, Alexa frowned as he spoke. "Well, it matters to me. So, tell me who it was."
I let out a sigh and looked away for a moment, my heart clenching slightly while wondering why Alec was acting this way. I'm very certain he doesn't care about me because he doesn't even know me.
