// Allocate in the Sphere Slot 1? Y/N //
The moment Adrian's finger tapped on the Y button, the bonding sphere in his hands buzzed to life.
Since Adrian's fingers were curled around the sphere, it kept buzzing, like a bug trying to escape its net.
Sensing that, Adrian slowly uncurled his fingers and watched in stupor as the sphere began to float towards the monitor.
'How does it make everything float so easily…'
Snap
Something snapped inside the monitor, but it wasn't a sound of breaking, it was more like some gears moving after years of being idle.
A sleek, black coloured rectangular box extended from the monitor's back, which Adrian realized he had yet to see, as the monitor was always facing towards him, no matter where he went.
Within the box, there were 5 spherical slots carved out.
The first slot among the five glowed in bluish hue, as if attracting the floating bonding sphere to move towards it, and so it did.
The bonding sphere floated towards the slot which was just half the size of the sphere, as the bonding sphere was the size of an average man's fist. (3 inch diameter)
But the size seemed to serve no problem.
Magically, the bonding sphere began to shrink until it was small enough to fit the slot neatly.
Bluish energy pulsed again, which Adrian guessed that it was mana, as he possessed a stat called mana in his talent window.
Grah…
A low growl filled the control room, as the same zombie that Adrian just captured, began to flicker into existence in front of him.
"Agh fu–" Adrian stumbled backwards and covered his nose in disgust and a tint of fear.
It wasn't easy to see a menacing looking zombie standing a couple footsteps away from himself.
Especially considering the fact that these zombies weren't like the slowpokes shown on Earth. They very well knew how to run and charge at their prey without a hint of concern about themselves.
But as Adrian watched for a few moments, the zombie kept standing there without any movement, its pupilless, white, blank eyes staring into Adrian's.
Adrian blinked repeatedly and even rubbed his eyes, but the zombie made no motion.
So he turned to look at the monitor.

Most of the information remained unchanged except the sphere slots section.
The energy being at 88% did pain Adrian's heart a bit, but he got over it by remembering about the new section that was supposed to be opened in the manager tab.
In addition, he had also completed the tutorial finally, allowing him to gain the map tab.
Plus, there were also two quests in the tech tree that he finished.
'Heh, this was productive. I wonder how happy my parents would be when they see I'm finally doing something productive for once.' Adrian shook his head with a wry smile, clicking the manager tab.

"Gardening… huh?" Adrian finally turned to look at the zombie again, who was still standing like a robot, not moving an inch.
"Can you speak?" he asked the zombie, while taking a closer look at it.
It was dressed in ripped clothes, which reminded Adrian of farmer's clothes he saw on Earth.
Its face was half rotten, with red skin covering its entire body. Flesh was barely clinging onto its bones.
But judging by the body shape and build, it clearly looked like a male.
The zombie shook his head, causing a small piece of skin to fling off and splat onto the tiles.
Seeing that, Adrian's brows twitched but he kept it in and hummed, "So you can understand me but cannot speak, correct?"
Zombie nodded.
"Will you listen to each of my commands?"
Zombie nodded again.
"Good, then gather all the twigs there, take them outside the room and break them in this size."
Adrian first pointed at the pile of branches and twigs he had collected to make the wooden chips, then he pointed at the metallic door of the control room.
Fishing a wooden chip from his pocket, he extended his hand towards the zombie who moved his hand to take it.
A shiver ran down Adrian's spine when the zombie's bony and bloody finger grazed his finger, but the zombie paid no mind and took the wooden chip, walking towards the pile to finish his assigned task.
Once the zombie was gone, Adrian exhaled a sigh of relief and stopped trying to breathe through his mouth, allowing the air to travel down his nose with some remnants of stench in the room.
For the last few minutes of his interaction with the zombie, he was trying his hardest to breathe through the mouth and ignore the stench.
"He reeks, but he will make my life much easier." Adrian said to himself as he watched the zombie standing out in the sun, snapping the twigs easily.
He could have just killed the zombie and tried to capture a beast instead, but he realized that a humanoid with two working hands will be much more useful than a cute looking beast or some fearsome war machine.
Wanting to check his tech tree and unlock some new technologies, Adrian turned to look at the monitor, but was left surprised.
His eyes focused on the Bonds section where his zombie's stats were listed.
"Ah, no wonder it lost so easily to a level 0. That changes a lot of things." Adrian grinned.
