Days went by and I tried pretending everything was normal but deep inside I was in chaos my heart thumping everytime my eyes wandered into hers thinking straight was even off the menu but I did what I usually do best ignore and endure.
I learnt the hard way that if you ignore something or in particular feelings they fade but like a bush fire they spread too fast than I could ignore them. I started noticing things about her like how she always paid attention in lessons, asked questions where she didn't understand and I'd answer her questions silently sometimes I'd notice that she would always first collect her thoughts before voicing her questions and she would seem as if everything was fine but I knew she was sweating when ever she stood up after all having a hundred eyes all with different intentions focused on you is not a pleasant experience.
She was what you would call innocent, cultured and she always tried her best but as they say never judge a book by its cover you see my eyes wandering into hers was never a coincidence fool me once okay but twice no see when your used to being alone you can easily notice someone starring at you and usually its out of curiosity that you also stare back most mistake that as love but I knew she wanted something.
"Maybe she wants me" I thought laughing at the deranged idea of someone wanting me.
The lunch bell rang and everyone ran off as if they had been starving for days. I sat by my usual sit at the back of the class near a window and stared out admiring the beauty of the sky the way the clouds performed a beautiful contrast with the blue sky.
"Why do you arrive early to class" someone asked "ka thump" broken out of my trance my mind started spinning in full gear more questions than answers popping up.
'why would she want to talk to me, why would she approach me, what does she want, why is her voice that good' I thought to my self finally looking at her face so close to mine I felt like I would have a heart attack.
"Ohh I wanted to tell you something" she said
"What's that" I replied managing to control my emotions
"You have cute eyes" she said smiling
"Damnation"
