The morning sunlight streamed through the curtain gaps, illuminating two pale bodies. The two embraced in sleep, sweet and happy smiles on both their lips.
The scene was so warm and harmonious, as if the two were a married couple.
"Kaien! Kaien!"
Suddenly, a shout came from outside the room, waking both people from their sweet dreams.
"Oh no! It's Naruto!" Sakura instantly panicked upon hearing the voice.
If Naruto saw her in Kaien's room—and naked at that—how would she explain it to Sasuke?
Although Kaien had kept his promise last night and didn't cross that final line, the battle was still fierce, and Sakura's clothes were scattered in various corners of the room.
"Quick! Help me pick up my clothes!" Sakura urged Kaien, hearing the footsteps outside the door getting closer.
"No time! Get in my quilt quickly!" Kaien heard the footsteps getting closer and closer, picked up the clothes, and stuffed them into the quilt.
At the same time, Sakura and Kaien also crawled into the quilt.
"Click!"
Kaien's room door was pushed open, and Naruto's figure appeared at the doorway.
"Still sleeping? What time is it?" Naruto said with a frown, looking at Kaien still lying in the quilt.
"Uh, I had a little to drink last night," Kaien said, scratching his head awkwardly.
"Sniff, sniff!" Naruto twitched his nose a few times. He did smell a bit of alcohol, and also a bit of another scent, but he couldn't quite place what it was.
"You're something, kid. You've even learned to drink now? And you've been back for two days, but you haven't even bothered to come find me?" Naruto didn't pay too much attention, saying teasingly.
"It's not that I was worried you were busy, Brother Naruto. If I went to find you, I was afraid of disturbing you.
You're the Seventh Hokage, so you must have a lot of things to do—especially since your wedding is coming up. You'll have even more to do," Kaien explained.
"No matter how busy I am, I always have time to say a few words to you. See? If you don't come to me, I'll just have to come find you myself, which wastes even more of my time," Naruto said with a smile.
"Uh, Brother Naruto, what do you need me for?" Kaien asked awkwardly.
Last night, he helped Sakura solve many problems, but Sakura refused to help him in return.
Now, Sakura was under the covers, lying between his legs, her warm breath caressing his baguette, making him itch with anticipation.
"What? You're back? Can't I come find you to reminisce?" Naruto retorted.
"Of course you can! It's just, Brother Naruto, perhaps you could step out for a moment? I'll get up, get dressed, and then come down to chat with you?" Kaien suggested.
"You rascal, you've been away for a few years and now you're shy? We're both men—what are you afraid of?" Naruto chided with a laugh.
"I'm just afraid of hurting your self-esteem, aren't I?" Kaien said, feeling wronged.
"You little scoundrel! Hurry up and come out!" Naruto laughed and scolded Kaien a few times, then left Kaien's room to wait in the living room.
Seeing that Naruto had finally left, Kaien immediately pulled up the quilt, revealing Sakura's figure.
At this moment, Sakura was lying between his legs, her beautiful eyes staring unblinkingly at the baguette, her small face flushed red with desire, and her breathing heavy.
Although she was sober now, after last night's release, her craving for certain things had intensified.
Now, that thing was right in front of her. Its scorching temperature and strong, fishy scent stimulated her nerves.
Sakura bit her lip, swallowed hard, and extended her delicate tongue to lick her dry lips.
Just one taste—just one taste—to see what it was like.
Sakura had never tasted this thing before.
Now that it was in front of her, it was like a piece of tempting meat, making her uncontrollably stick out her small tongue and lick it.
With that one lick, Sakura found that the baguette tasted even better than she had imagined.
Its unique fragrance filled her entire mouth, making her unable to resist taking it into her mouth.
"Mmm!" Kaien never expected that what he had tried to get Sakura to do last night—but she had adamantly refused—would actually happen this morning.
The warmth that enveloped him made him feel like he was floating.
Kaien's soft hum instantly startled Sakura. She quickly released him, stood up, her pretty face flushed with embarrassment, and her hands and feet at a loss.
Kaien quickly reached out and pulled Sakura into his arms, whispering hotly into her ear, "Sister Sakura, you've already had a taste—why not finish it?"
That feeling just now was absolutely wonderful, leaving Kaien completely immersed.
"I… I'm not…" Sakura stammered, her face growing even redder with shyness.
"Don't be shy, come on, eat!" Kaien encouraged Sakura.
"Hmph! Don't even think about it!" Sakura pushed Kaien away, picked up the clothes on the bed, and put them on.
"Sigh!" Seeing Sakura so resolute, Kaien sighed helplessly. He should have held back his sound just now.
"What happened between us—don't let a third person know, or I will never forgive you!" Sakura, after getting dressed, glared fiercely at Kaien and threatened.
"I know. These kinds of things feel better when they're kept secret," Kaien said, hugging Sakura's slender waist and kissing her neck.
"Don't worry. There won't be a next time with you," Sakura slipped out of Kaien's embrace, said lightly, then jumped out the window and disappeared from Kaien's sight.
Watching Sakura's departing back, Kaien's lips curled into an arc, revealing a brilliant smile.
Kaien was in a great mood. He hadn't expected to make such a big breakthrough with Sakura just two days after his return.
"Click!"
"Kaien, what are you doin'—" Just as Kaien was recalling the intense battle with Sakura last night, his bedroom door was pushed open again, and Kushina's voice came in.
Kaien instinctively turned around. Kushina's words stopped halfway.
Seeing Kaien standing there naked, his baguette pointing straight at her like a cannon, she swallowed the rest of her words.
"Mother, why did you come in?" Kaien quickly pulled the bedsheet to cover himself, asking awkwardly.
"What are you doing in your room? You haven't put on clothes for ages. Your Brother Naruto had something to do and left, telling you to go to the Hokage Building to find him later."
Kushina also came back to her senses, her pretty face flushed as she chided him, then turned and left.
"Thud—"
"That little scoundrel! How dare he point that thing at me? It's outrageous!" Kushina leaned against the door, cursing inwardly.
"That thing of his… it's too scary, isn't it?"
Kushina's heart—she didn't know why—suddenly came up with this sentence, scaring her into shaking her head quickly.
"There seems to be a strange smell in his room. Could it be that he was thinking of something and did it himself?
He wouldn't be thinking of the scene from the night before, would he?!"
