He turned his gaze toward Konoha Village and snorted coldly.

With that, Toneri turned and retreated.
"Bastard! Let go of my sister-in-law!" Kaien roared in fury.
"Kaien-kun!" Hinata reached out desperately toward him.
"Sister-in-law, don't worry! I will definitely save you!" Kaien shouted, his eyes filled with determination.
Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to stand and tried to chase after them—
"Ugh—!"
A wave of powerlessness swept through his entire body. His legs gave out, and he collapsed again, his face contorted in pain.
Just before he hit the ground, a red figure appeared and caught him.
Kaien felt a soft embrace, a familiar warmth, and a refreshing fragrance. He struggled to open his eyes and saw an exquisitely beautiful face.
"Mother… hurry… save sister-in-law… she was taken… taken away…"
Kaien muttered weakly before his consciousness completely faded.
"Kaien! Kaien!" Kushina cried anxiously, gently patting his face.
"Swish! Swish! Swish!"
Several figures arrived in an instant.
"Mom! What happened?!" Naruto asked urgently when he saw Kaien unconscious in Kushina's arms.

"Aunt Kushina, let me take a look at him," Sakura stepped forward, her brows knitted tightly as she examined Kaien.
"Alright. Thank you, Sakura," Kushina said, carefully handing Kaien over.
After a quick examination, Sakura let out a quiet breath of relief.
"He's not in critical danger," she said. "He's just severely exhausted."
