Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Mission — Hold Hinata’s Hand

"Mom!" Sarada heard the sound of the door opening and excitedly ran to the entrance.

Seeing Sakura return, she pounced into her arms, sweetly calling out to her.

Sakura held Sarada, and a sudden sense of guilt toward Sasuke rose in her heart. She gently ruffled Sarada's small head.

"Were you a good girl and listened to Grandma at home?" Sakura asked softly.

"I was very obedient!" Sarada said, tilting her head up.

"Mm, good girl!" Sakura praised.

"You're back!" Mikoto walked out of the kitchen, smiling kindly.

"Mom!" Seeing her mother, Sakura's guilt deepened.

"Why didn't you come home last night? Did something happen?" Mikoto noticed Sakura's slight abnormality and asked with concern.

"Nothing. I had a drink with a friend last night and just stayed over at her place," Sakura forced a smile and said to Mikoto.

Mikoto carefully observed Sakura's expression but didn't press further. She simply waved her hand and said, "Dinner's ready. Come sit down and eat."

"Um, you guys eat first. I'm going to take a shower." Worried that Mikoto would smell the strange odor on her, Sakura fled into the bathroom like a scared rabbit and locked the door.

"Bang!"

After closing the bathroom door, Sakura touched her burning cheeks, let out a long breath, then turned on the shower, took off her clothes, and washed her body.

At this moment, on her fair skin, there were faint marks—Kaien's handiwork from last night.

"That little rascal! He's really too naughty! From now on, I must stay far away from him!" Sakura pouted, saying resentfully.

Although she said that, when her hand gently caressed her skin, she immediately remembered the pleasure Kaien had given her last night.

"Damn it, I can't think about it anymore. If I think too much, I'll become a little pervert!" Sakura shook her small head vigorously, trying to shake that thought out of her mind.

However, her small hand unconsciously moved to her own…

"Why is his touch so completely different from my own?" Sakura murmured with a frown.

She recalled the sensations of last night, a feeling she had never experienced in her life—it was wonderful, as if her soul had been absorbed into it.

Sakura leaned against the wall, sliding to the floor, her fingers moving as Kaien's had last night, and in her mind, that scorching baguette echoed.

"Kaien, Kaien… shui si lin (qi) 2II si ba~…" Sakura's mouth continuously repeated Kaien's name.

At the same time, after a simple breakfast, Kaien walked toward the Hokage Building.

[Ding! Make-out Paradise Mission: Hold Hinata's hand.

Remaining time: two hours.

Reward upon completion: 100 passion points.]

Suddenly, the system's mission notification sounded in Kaien's mind.

"Huh? Hinata?" Kaien was stunned. He hadn't expected the system to give him a mission involving Hinata.

Although the difficulty wasn't high—just holding her hand—the problem was that Hinata was the woman of his sworn brother, Naruto, and in a few days, she would be getting married and becoming a bride!

Was this system telling him to make a move on Hinata?

"Kaien-kun!" Just as Kaien was lost in thought, he had already arrived at the entrance of the Hokage Building. At the same time, a pleasant voice sounded in his ear.

Kaien looked up and saw Hinata standing not far from him, smiling at him.

Hinata was dressed as usual, quite conservatively, but it still couldn't conceal her graceful, well-proportioned curves—especially the pair of jade peaks on her chest, which seemed ready to burst forth, making one's imagination run wild.

"Sister-in-law!" Kaien quickly called out.

Hinata's pretty face immediately flushed with shyness when she heard Kaien call her sister-in-law, and she lowered her head.

"Um, Sister-in-law, why are you here?" Seeing Hinata blush, Kaien quickly changed the subject.

"I-I came to find Naruto today…" Hinata stammered.

"Oh…" Kaien responded, then said, "Then let's go up together."

"Mm!" Hinata nodded lightly, following Kaien upstairs.

"Kaien-kun, when did you come back?" Hinata suddenly asked.

"The day before yesterday. When I received the news of your marriage to my Brother Naruto, I rushed back," Kaien replied truthfully.

"Oh! Thank you! For being able to rush back to attend Naruto's and my wedding. 0 Wife's father's business VII private room," Hinata said softly, her head lowered.

"What's there to thank for!" Kaien said with a smile.

Hinata lowered her head and said nothing.

Soon, the two arrived at Naruto's office.

Naruto was delighted to see Kaien and quickly stood up, wanting to greet him.

However, when he saw Hinata behind Kaien, his expression changed, and he then said, "Hinata, why are you here?"

Seeing this, Kaien couldn't help but feel a little puzzled. Why did Naruto suddenly seem a little afraid when he saw Hinata?

"I was afraid you'd be too busy and wouldn't have breakfast, so I brought some for you," Hinata placed the bento box on Naruto's desk.

"Don't worry. No matter how busy I am, I wouldn't forget to eat breakfast, would I?" Naruto said with a smile.

"Kaien, you're finally here. I waited for you in the living room for a long time, but you didn't come down. Something suddenly came up, so I had to come back to the Hokage Building," Naruto complained.

"I wasn't quite sober from the alcohol yet," Kaien said with a smile.

"How about it? After being away for these few years, have you made any progress in your strength? What have you seen?" Naruto sat at his desk, busy with work, while asking.

Kaien chatted with Naruto, and Hinata found a seat and sat down, listening to the two of them talk without interjecting.

Naruto and Kaien chatted intermittently, while his eyes secretly glanced at Hinata, a hint of anxiety in his gaze.

Naruto was anxious—and Kaien was anxious too. As time ticked by, he had no opportunity or time to hold Hinata's hand!

If he couldn't complete the mission, there would be a penalty!

He couldn't just forcibly grab Hinata's hand in front of Naruto, could he?

Naruto would beat him to death right there!

Seeing that Hinata had no intention of leaving, Naruto shook his head helplessly, then picked up the phone and said a few words.

"Kaien, I still have things to do, so I won't chat with you anymore. Go have fun on your own," Naruto said with a sigh after hanging up the phone.

"Alright then, Brother Naruto. Take your time. I'll be going now." Kaien breathed a sigh of relief.

There was still time; as long as they left the Hokage Building, he would have a chance to hold Hinata's hand.

"Naruto, I'll be going too. Remember to eat," Hinata stood up, reminded Naruto, then followed Kaien out of Naruto's office.
