Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Skynet Brand Gift Pack?

Chapter 32: Skynet Brand Gift Pack?

There was more than one Terminator T-1000 dispatched by Skynet!

Faced with this situation, Marcus immediately ordered the on-site personnel to be on high alert. He then contacted Kyle, and after Kyle answered, Marcus spoke first.

"If I were you, I would stay." Marcus took the initiative to give the password.

"If I were you, I would stay too." Kyle responded with the password, and then asked, "What happened? Why are you using an emergency password?"

"Where are you now?" Marcus asked first. "There's more than one Terminator T-1000. We've already captured two. I suspect they're using a diversionary tactic, drawing our forces to the Knox Steel Mill, leaving you with few defensive capabilities!"

Kyle replied, "Don't worry, we're arriving at the field office soon!"

"That's good!" Marcus breathed a sigh of relief, ended the call with Kyle, and then spoke with Stevens to explain the situation.

"There are multiple Terminator T-1000s!" Stevens exclaimed in shock. "What do we do now?"

If there are multiple Terminator T-1000s, given their shapeshifting abilities, they could potentially disguise themselves as anyone and hide anywhere.

Although Marcus had set up passwords and used K-9 units to counter the Terminator T-1000s, these preventative measures relied on the Terminator T-1000s taking action.

What if the Terminator T-1000s didn't attack?

In Terminator 2, the Terminator T-1000 seemed to prefer close combat.

However, because the Terminator T-1000 was a fully liquid metal machine, its overall structural strength was too low, which led to it being evenly matched with the Terminator T-800, and even being eliminated by the Terminator T-800.

But Marcus no longer blindly believed in the original movie plot!

Because he had changed the fate of the Terminator world, and the Terminator world was now in chaos, how could he still believe in the original plot?

Who knows if Terminator T-1000, after suffering repeated setbacks, might acquire a sniper rifle from some weapons depot?

If Terminator T-1000 gets a sniper rifle, that would be a huge threat to Marcus and John; they could be targeted from a distance if they weren't careful.

Who could withstand that risk?

Marcus certainly couldn't!

"Let's take it one step at a time." Marcus didn't have any better ideas. "I'll deal with things here first."

"Okay." Stevens hung up the phone.

Marcus put away his phone and walked to the transparent high-strength polymer containment box. Looking at Terminator T-1000 frozen in liquid nitrogen inside, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

"System, I suddenly have an idea!" Marcus thought to himself, "Since destiny points can weave memories for Garrett and even reverse Garrett's thoughts, can destiny points reverse the Terminator's root access?"

When Marcus first entered the Terminator world, after careful and comprehensive consideration, he ultimately chose to integrate into the Terminator world to use it to deal with Terminator T-800.

Marcus's initial plan was extremely successful!

By successfully leveraging Richard's influence, Marcus gained control of the "authority" in the Terminator world, gradually suppressing the Terminators and Skynet.

However, with everything going so smoothly, Marcus's methods for dealing with Skynet and the Terminators had become fixed patterns. While effective, they weren't optimal.

Now that trouble had finally arisen, Marcus was motivated to think of new solutions.

"Destiny points can reverse the Terminator's root access," the Transcendence System responded, then added, "Please note, host, reversing cause and effect through destiny points only yields the result, not a permanent one. If Skynet establishes a connection, if the Terminator T-1000 is reconnected to Skynet, even if the host reverses cause and effect through destiny points, Skynet can still modify the result again and regain root access."

This situation was the same as Richard's previous one!

Although Marcus reversed cause and effect through destiny points, making Richard believe that Marcus was an undercover agent, as time went on, Richard would still develop doubts.

"I understand!" Marcus responded, "How many points are needed to modify the Terminator T-1000's root access by reversing cause and effect through destiny points?"

"By reversing cause and effect through destiny points, you can obtain root access over Terminator T-1000s. Each Terminator T-1000 requires 10 destiny points," the Transcendence System responded.

Marcus currently has 54 points...

Wait!

Marcus checked his destiny points in his mind, and it was a whopping 94 points!

"What's going on?" Marcus was stunned.

The Transcendence System immediately displayed the system log, and Marcus saw the specific information: under his direction, two Terminator T-1000s were captured, thus gaining 40 destiny points.

"Are you sure that obtaining root access over each Terminator T-1000 only requires 10 destiny points?" Marcus asked hesitantly.

"One hundred percent sure," the Transcendence System replied.

Marcus almost laughed out loud!

Capturing a Terminator T-1000 grants 20 destiny points, but rewriting root access over a Terminator T-1000 only requires 10 destiny points. Something seems off about this?

"Hmm... Doesn't that mean I gain control of the Terminator T-1000 and also get 10 extra destiny points? It's pure profit!"

In this situation, the Terminator T-1000 is no longer just an assassin sent by Skynet; it's a Skynet gift package, providing both operatives and destiny points.

Such a good deal?

If Marcus hadn't personally encountered it, he wouldn't have believed it.

"Immediately reverse cause and effect through destiny points. I need root access to two Terminator T-1000s," Marcus explained.

"Okay. The host's cooperation will be required when rewriting root access to the Terminator T-1000s," the Transcendence System responded, then added, "The host only needs to take out their phone and enter a series of commands. The system will automatically inject the commands into the Terminator T-1000's internal processor via wireless network."

The Transcendence System added, "After root access to the first Terminator T-1000 is modified, the system can use this Terminator T-1000 to modify the permissions of other Terminators without requiring manual operation from the host."

"Okay," Marcus replied.

After responding, Marcus took out his phone and typed in the commands given by the system in his mind. He then pointed the phone at the Terminator T-1000 in the containment chamber.

"Stop liquid nitrogen injection, prepare to unseal Terminator T-1000," Marcus announced, looking at the "execution successful" notification on his phone.

"This..." an FBI field agent hesitated and said, "Director, are you sure about this?"

Marcus responded, "Trust me, I'm conducting an experiment to see if I can gain control of Terminator T-1000. Be prepared at any time. If anything unexpected happens, immediately use liquid nitrogen to freeze Terminator T-1000!"

"Yes, sir!" The field agents acknowledged.

After the liquid nitrogen supply to the transparent high-strength polymer containment box was cut off, Terminator T-1000 was rapidly regaining its mobility, fully reviving in less than a minute.

But Terminator T-1000 remained quietly inside the containment box, showing no intention of attacking, because Marcus had gained its root access!
