Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: A Great Harvest!

Chapter 33: A Great Harvest!

Inside the transparent, high-strength containment chamber, the liquid metal Terminator T-1000 remained quietly, showing no signs of aggression.

Marcus asked in his mind, "How should I control it?"

"Given that the host has not yet awakened any psychic abilities, and given that the Terminator T-1000 has not yet installed a neural interface plugin, the host can command the Terminator T-1000 via voice, and can also send text commands to the Terminator T-1000 via mobile phone," the Transcendence System responded to Marcus's question.

Marcus grasped the key point, "Can I awaken psychic abilities?"

"Currently, the host's Spirit attribute is as high as 22 points, far exceeding that of ordinary humans. If the host's Spirit attribute can reach 31 points, and enter the extraordinary realm, then the host can awaken psychic abilities through the system," the Transcendence System explained.

"The extraordinary realm..." Marcus pondered to himself. According to the Transcendence System, every 10 destiny points can reverse cause and effect, increasing one's attributes by 1 point.

Currently, his Spirit attribute has reached 22 points. According to the conversion rules between destiny points and attributes, he needs 80 destiny points to raise his Spirit attribute to 30 points.

As for raising it by one more point to enter the extraordinary realm, even though Marcus has never entered the extraordinary realm or even come into contact with anything supernatural, he still feels that entering the extraordinary realm shouldn't be so simple.

"How many destiny points do I need to enter the extraordinary realm?" Marcus asked.

"If the host wants to enter the extraordinary realm, 1130 destiny points are required," the Transcendence System didn't intend to hide anything.

Marcus was stunned!

Why 1130 destiny points?

According to the Transcendence System, every 10 destiny points are converted into 1 attribute point. Even if more destiny points are needed to transform and transcend from 30 to 31 points, over a thousand destiny points is still too much!

Marcus voiced his doubts.

The Transcendence System still didn't hide anything, "The host has misunderstood. Entering the extraordinary realm and touching the extraordinary realm are two different things."

"Taking the host as an example, the host's Spirit is outstanding, reaching a level of 22. The host's first step is to invest 80 destiny points to raise the Spirit attribute to the transformation stage of 30 points," the Transcendence System explained.

"When the Spirit attribute enters the transformation stage, the host needs to invest 100 destiny points to transcend, ultimately completing the transformation into an extraordinary being. However, merely having the Spirit attribute enter the extraordinary stage only means touching the extraordinary realm," the Transcendence System reminded.

Marcus did some mental calculations and responded by analogy, "To enter the extraordinary realm, all four attributes—Strength, Agility, Constitution, and Spirit—must reach 31 points, right?"

According to this, the required destiny points would be 1130.

The Transcendence System confirmed Marcus's guess, "Yes! Only when all four attributes enter the extraordinary realm can it be called entering the extraordinary realm. If any attribute is missing, it can only be called touching the extraordinary realm."

Marcus indicated that he understood.

"Director Foster, what are we doing now..." An FBI agent, noticing Marcus's contemplative expression, tentatively asked.

Marcus snapped out of his reverie. "Resume alert status. Terminator T-1000 threat neutralized."

"Huh?" The FBI agent looked at Marcus with confusion.

Marcus snapped his fingers and ordered, "Exit the containment box."

The previously still Terminator T-1000's hands transformed into sharp blades, easily piercing through the high-strength polymer enclosure. It then transformed into liquid metal, flowing out from the breach, and finally appeared as an LAPD officer standing before Marcus.

The FBI agents around Marcus were on high alert, their liquid nitrogen spray guns ready to deploy at any moment. If Terminator T-1000 made any sudden movement, they would not hesitate to freeze it instantly!

However, Terminator T-1000 simply stood quietly beside Marcus, making no unusual moves.

Marcus proactively inquired, "How many Terminators are involved in this operation, and what are their specific models? By the way, from now on, your designation will be Unit One."

Terminator Unit One, T-1000, responded, "There are two Terminator T-1000s at the Knox Steel Mill, one Terminator T-1000 near the FBI's Los Angeles field office, and three Terminator T-800s."

The agents standing around Marcus stared at Terminator T-1000 in astonishment. It had actually revealed operational information on Marcus's orders?

What on earth was going on?!

"There are four more Terminators!" Marcus thought to himself in surprise. "Contact them immediately and tell them we need backup!"

"Yes, sir." Terminator Unit One, T-1000, immediately carried out the order.

"System, at what distance can I remotely modify the other units' permissions using Terminator Unit One, T-1000?" Marcus asked in his mind.

The system responded, "Given the lack of security measures in the communication system between Terminators, as long as they are within one kilometer, Terminator Unit One can modify the other units' permissions."

Marcus added, "Do we need more destiny points?"

"Of course," the Transcendence System responded first, then added, "If the host subdues the Terminator first, fewer destiny points will be needed when modifying the Terminator's permissions."

"Just as I thought!" Marcus understood. He had anticipated this situation; after all, the difficulty was different, and the number of destiny points consumed was different—perfectly logical.

Marcus, Terminator T-1000, and the FBI agents discussed how to capture the other Terminator T-1000 and the three Terminator T-800s.

A moment later, Jackson brought out the other Terminator T-1000. The Transcendence System had already modified its root permissions through Terminator T-1000, which Marcus designated as 'Unit Two.'

Nearly half an hour later, with the help of Terminators Unit One and Unit Two, the other Terminator T-1000, along with the three Terminator T-800s, were all easily subdued and their root permissions were modified.

The Skynet gift pack had arrived!

One Terminator T-1000 added 10 destiny points to Marcus's account, along with a Terminator T-1000 intelligent liquid metal shapeshifting operative.

The gift pack of three Terminator T-800s was slightly smaller, balancing out the destiny point gain and loss. Subduing a Terminator T-800 granted 10 destiny points, while tampering with root access consumed 10 destiny points, resulting in only a small gift pack of three Terminator T-800s.

Six Terminators stood neatly around Marcus, three of whom were muscular men, creating a strangely impressive scene.

Jackson poked one of the Terminator T-1000s, exclaiming, "Boss, you subdued six Terminators so easily, and they all obey your commands?"

Marcus smiled and nodded. This time, Skynet had indeed delivered a great gift, a truly rare and bountiful harvest!
